Super Mario Odyssey Unofficial PC Port Available for Download

Super Mario fans, the time has come. An unofficial native PC port of Super Mario Odyssey has just been released, and you can download it right now. With this unofficial PC port, you will be able to run and play Super Mario Odyssey natively on your PC.

The PC port is fully playable from start to finish. You can explore every kingdom, fight every boss, play the 2D and 8-bit sections, and reach the ending and post-game content. The project has been tested at 60 FPS on a modern desktop PC. Linux users can also play the full game, but the macOS build may still have some issues.

The port adds several PC graphics options. You can play at your screen’s native resolution or raise the internal resolution up to 4x. At 1080p, 2x resolution gives you a 4K image. This makes the game look much sharper than it does on the Switch. If your PC is not powerful enough, you can lower the render scale to 25% and use AMD FSR 1 to help keep the game running well.

Power Moon Recomp also has a built-in menu. Press F1 or Esc to open it, or use the Home or Guide button on a controller. From there, you can change video and audio settings, set up your controls, pick a language, and manage mods. The game also supports full-screen play, which you can switch on with F11 or Alt+Enter.

You are not locked to a gamepad, either. The port supports keyboard and mouse controls, and you can change the key bindings. It also supports controllers, including the right stick for camera control. This gives PC players more ways to play the game.

Another big feature is mod support. You can add mods that change or add costumes, models, textures, music, text, and even levels. The game has a Mods tab where you can turn each mod on or off. You do not need to change the game’s own files. If two mods change the same file, the one higher in the list takes priority. Mods made for game version 1.0.0 work best. Code mods are not supported.

The port also keeps your saves, settings, and shader cache in its own files. Once the game has built its shader cache, later visits to the same areas should load more quickly. Some shaders may still cause a brief pause the first time they appear, but this should happen less often as you play.

Getting started is simple, but you need your own copy of Super Mario Odyssey. The port only supports the original 1.0.0 version of the game, without updates. On the first run, you select your dumped game files. The setup then checks them, copies the files it needs, and builds the PC version. This only needs to be done once. After that, the game starts straight away.

You can go ahead and download this unofficial PC port from here.
