These past few days, we’ve been bombarded with a lot of unofficial PC ports of console and arcade games. And you know what? Things will get even crazier. As such, I’ve decided to share those I personally find interesting. So, today, we have an arcade-perfect PC port of the first Virtua Fighter game.
This unofficial PC port of Virtua Fighter keeps the look and feel of the arcade versions. Moreover, it adds several features that were not available on the original arcade hardware.
The biggest change is the higher image quality. The port can upscale the game by up to 6x. This keeps the original low-poly art style but makes it look much sharper on modern screens.
It also adds widescreen and ultrawide support. The game can show more of the stages and skies on the sides. The port also supports framerates up to 120FPS, along with anti-aliasing.
The PC version also adds an options menu. You can change display settings, control options, and sound settings. Music and sound effects can be changed on their own.
Now I know some will say that MAME could emulate this game. However, MAME had numerous glitches. At least its older versions. This unofficial PC port does not have any, and it looks exactly like the arcade.
In fact, since we can play at 120FPS and with resolutions up to 4K, this PC port is better than the arcade version. So, if you’ve been a die-hard Virtua Fighter fan, you should definitely check it out. You can download it from here. At the end of the article, you can also find a video for it. This has some comparison scenes that will give you a better idea of what you can expect from it.
In case you are into unofficial PC ports of console-exclusive games, you might want to try the following ones. Right now, you can download the unofficial PC ports of Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Crash Team Racing, and Duke Nukem: Zero Hour. You can also play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Majora’s Mask, Perfect Dark, and Jak & Daxter. These past few days, I also shared the unofficial PC versions of The Simpsons Game, Peter Jackson’s King Kong, Gears of War 3, Bloodborne, P.T., and Super Mario Sunshine.
For our SNES fans, we also have a PC port of Star Fox. We also got a PC port of F-Zero. Brian Tate has also brought the three classic SNES Donkey Kong Country games to PC. Plus, we got a PC port of Mother 2/EarthBound.
This isn’t the first arcade-perfect PC port we’ve gotten. These past couple of months, I shared the PC ports of Rave Racer and Time Crisis. And you know what arcade games should be ported to the PC, right? Bring the Model 3 PC ports, guys. Time to play on PC Lost World: Jurassic Park, SCUD Race, Virtua Striker 2, and all those classics. From what I know, there is one such project in development. It’s still in a very early stage, though, which is why I haven’t shared it with you as of yet.
In September 2026, we shared a lot of unofficial PC ports. So, you can download and enjoy on PC Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link, WET, The Darkness, Spider-Man: Edge of Time, Mercenaries, GTA: Liberty City Stories, Fable 2, Burnout Revenge, Super Mario Strikers, and Lost Odyssey.
And that’s not all of them. We also have the unofficial PC ports of Mario Party 4, Sonic Unleashed, GoldenEye 007, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Silent Hill, and Super Smash Bros. 64. In July 2026, we shared the unofficial PC ports of Gears of War 2 and Syphon Filter. Then, in August 2026, we shared the PC ports of Diddy Kong Racing and Ace Combat 6. Let’s also not forget the unofficial PC versions of Wave Race 64, Blue Dragon, and Pikmin. Finally, you can download the PC ports of Ninja Gaiden 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Tekken 3, and Mario Kart Wii.
Have fun!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
