To the surprise of no one, an unofficial PC port of one of the best PS4 racing games, Driveclub, has been released. This unofficial PC port will let you play this cool racing game on your PC. So, if you are a big racing fan, you should definitely check it out.
Driveclub was already running great on shadPS4. You could already raise its internal resolution to play at 1440p, 4K, and 8K. With a high-end PC, you could also run it at 120FPS. But now, things are easier, as you won’t need to mess around with shadPS4. Instead, you will be able to launch and play the game via a simple launcher.
The PC port supports ultrawide screens, including 2560×1080, 3440×1440, and 5120×1440. It can render the game at a wider size, rather than stretching the image. This also gives you a wider view of the road. In ultrawide mode, the HUD will stay in the center of the screen.
The PC port also comes with some additional graphics settings. For instance, you can use AMD FSR to boost performance, along with extra sharpening. The PC port also supports FXAA and SMAA to smooth rough edges. You can change texture filtering, too.
The PC port of Driveclub will build shaders in the background. This will help cut down on stutter when new effects or objects appear. A shader cache also helps speed up later runs. However, on your initial play, you may experience some stutters.
As I said, the PC port comes with a built-in launcher. This launcher will let you pick your game files and set your graphics options. It checks your files before the game starts, and it has options for windowed play, full-screen mode, and more.
But what about performance? YouTube’s ‘Testing Games’ has shared some interesting benchmarks. On an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D with 32GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 5090, Driveclub runs at 100-120FPS at 4K. At 1440p, an NVIDIA RTX 3080 can push 75-90FPS. Finally, at 1080p, an NVIDIA GTX 1060 offers 35-40FPS.

For our NVIDIA fans, I suggest using this other PC port for Driveclub. This one adds support for DLAA and DLSS. What’s also cool is that you can use F10 to switch between FSR and DLSS on RTX GPUs in real-time. So, if you want to play Driveclub with DLAA/DLSS, you can go ahead and download this PC port.
