Another day, another unofficial PC port of a console-exclusive game. This time, we bring you the unofficial PC port of WET, a game that came out in 2009 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
For those who did not know, WET is a third-person action game, created by Artificial Mind & Movement and published by Bethesda. You play as Rubi Malone, a skilled gun-for-hire. Rubi is fast, tough, and good with both guns and a sword. The game is built around fast combat, wild stunts, and stylish action.
WET also has a strong grindhouse movie feel. Rubi can run, jump, slide, and shoot at the same time. She can also use her sword to cut down foes up close. The game has bright action scenes, slow-motion moves, and fast chase parts.
Now, what’s cool about this unofficial PC port is that it supports keyboard and mouse. PC gamers can use the mouse to look around, fire their gun with the left mouse button, and use their sword with the right mouse button. There is also an Ultra graphics preset you can use. This preset increases render scale to 2X/3X, enables FXAA Extreme, and forces AF 16x.
You can go ahead and download this unofficial PC port of WET from this link. Like all other PC recompilations, it does not contain any in-game assets. As such, you will have to provide your own ISO in order to play it.
One of our readers has also informed me about a PC port of The Darkness. However, a better and more stable PC port has been available for a while. Thus, if you want to play the first The Darkness game on PC, I suggest using that one. You can download it from here.
