One of the best games on the PS3, which was then remastered for PS4, is God of War 3. And now, PC gamers can finally enjoy this game on PC. Yup, you read that right. An unofficial PC port of God of War 3 Remastered has just been released.
This PC port is based on Supermedo’s Windows port, which builds on deadinside28’s Bloodborne PC project. It also uses fixes for God of War III from cuesta4’s shadPS4 fork.
The PC port lets you play the entire game. In other words, you can play from the opening scenes to the final fight. The menus, video scenes, music, voices, and sound effects all work.
Now, here is one of the best things about the PC port. We get full keyboard and mouse support from the get-go. As with a lot of recent PC ports, we have KB&M support at launch. You can also rebind all keys. Plus, you can use a DualSense, Xbox pad, or any other gamepad you want.
But what about performance? On an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X with 32GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, the PC port runs at 144 FPS on average at 1080p. In some cases, it can drop to 55 FPS, but it can also go up to 240 FPS. At 4K with FSR, this same PC setup can push an average of at 108 FPS.
The game has an on-screen save list, just like the PS4 version. Auto-save also works. Before each launch, the launcher makes a backup of your saves. This helps keep your progress safe.
The PC port also comes with a handy launcher that has quick settings on the home page. You can change the screen, speed, controls, and game folder. You can also back up saves, manage mods, check for updates, and view error reports.
The mod menu lets you set the load order, use presets, and spot conflicts. You can also pick PlayStation or Xbox button icons.
Finally, we have an in-game menu. PC gamers can press Insert on the keyboard or R3 + L2 on a controller to open the menu. This menu has four main tabs.
Game: Turn on cheats, such as endless health, magic, and Rage of Sparta. You can also set how many orbs you get and how much damage you deal or take. An enemy health bar is also available.
Image: Pick windowed, borderless, or full-screen mode. You can also turn V-Sync on or off. FSR 1 can make the game run faster, while RCAS can sharpen the image.
Performance: Set the frame rate limit, from 30 FPS to no limit. You can also change how many frames the game queues and control how shaders load. Some settings need a restart to take effect.
Overlay: Show live stats on screen. These can include FPS, frame time, upscaling, GPU use, CPU use, RAM, and VRAM. You can choose which stats to show, where they appear, and how large they look.
Those interested can go ahead and download the PC port from here. To run it, you’ll need a copy of God of War III Remastered CUSA01623 with the 01.02 update.
Before closing, I should note that this PC port is still in an alpha stage. While you can play it from start to finish, you might encounter some bugs and glitches. Future versions will most likely fix them, and we will most likely also get a performance boost. So, make sure to keep that in mind.
In case you are into projects like these, you can also download the unofficial PC ports of Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Strikers. We’ll also soon get PC ports of Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
But what about non-Super Mario games? Well, right now, you can download the unofficial PC ports of Crash Team Racing and Duke Nukem: Zero Hour. You can also play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Majora’s Mask, Perfect Dark, and Jak & Daxter.
These past few weeks, I also shared the unofficial PC versions of The Simpsons Game, Peter Jackson’s King Kong, Gears of War 3, and Bloodborne. Let’s also not forget the PC ports of P.T., Virtua Fighter Arcade, and Metroid Prime.
For our SNES fans, we also have a PC port of Star Fox. We also got a PC port of F-Zero. Brian Tate has also brought the three classic SNES Donkey Kong Country games to PC. Plus, we got a PC port of Mother 2/EarthBound.
In September 2026, we shared a lot of unofficial PC ports. So, you can download and enjoy on PC Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link, WET, The Darkness, Spider-Man: Edge of Time, Mercenaries, GTA: Liberty City Stories, Fable 2, Burnout Revenge, and Lost Odyssey.
And that’s not all of them. We also have the unofficial PC ports of Mario Party 4, Sonic Unleashed, GoldenEye 007, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Silent Hill, and Super Smash Bros. 64. In July 2026, we shared the unofficial PC ports of Gears of War 2 and Syphon Filter. Then, in August 2026, we shared the PC ports of Diddy Kong Racing and Ace Combat 6. Let’s also not forget the unofficial PC versions of Wave Race 64, Blue Dragon, and Pikmin. Finally, you can download the PC ports of Ninja Gaiden 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Tekken 3.
Have fun!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
