Killzone Shadow Fall feature-3

Killzone Shadow Fall PC Now Has a Third-Person Camera Mode

GitHub’s ‘pearlxcore’ has released a new update for the unofficial PC port of Killzone Shadow Fall that adds a third-person camera mode. As such, PC gamers can now experience this PS4-only game via both a first-person and a third-person perspective.

Patch 0.3.0 also adds a Persistent Photo Mode indicator during freecam. We also get stacked alerts for model picks and overlay changes. The launcher now has a Logs tab for the current session. You can also set custom folders for saves and shader caches.

On top of that, you can now play as CJ from GTA: San Andreas. This is a fun nod to all the mods that add CJ to other games. I won’t use this custom character in this game myself. But hey, it’s still a cool little extra.

Sadly, this latest version of the PC port does not add proper KB&M icons. This is something that was added to the latest version of the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. So, I really hope that pearlxcore will add them in a future update.

You can go ahead and download this latest version of Killzone Shadow Fall PC from here. At the end of the article, you can also find a video that showcases its new third-person camera mode. As you will see, it has some minor issues, but it’s fully playable. Personally, I’ll stick with the first-person mode. Still, this is really cool to see. Now imagine if we got a first-person mode in the Zelda games. Or let me go a step further. Imagine if someone could implement Ray Tracing/Path Tracing. These are things I’d love to see in these unofficial PC ports.

In case you are into projects like these, you can also download the unofficial PC ports of Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario Strikers.

But what about non-Super Mario games? Well, right now, you can download the unofficial PC ports of Crash Team Racing, Forza Horizon 2, and Duke Nukem: Zero Hour.
