Here is something really cool for our Tekken and fighting fans. An unofficial PC port of Tekken 6 has just been released, featuring online multiplayer with rollback netcode. This unofficial port will let you play this Tekken game on PC. So, if you are not a fan of all the gameplay changes Bandai Namco made to Tekken 8, you should check it out.
This unofficial PC port is based on the Xbox 360 version. It allows you to choose between three picture quality modes: Standard, High, and Ultra. High aims to look sharp on Full HD and 1440p screens. Ultra targets 4K screens.
You can also lower the 3D resolution and shadows to improve performance on less powerful GPUs. The PC port supports full screen, borderless, or windowed mode. Moreover, you can turn motion blur off and set your own vibration choice for the game modes that support it.
As said, the biggest feature of this PC port is Online play. You can fight other players online with rollback netcode. This helps keep matches smooth when the two players have some network lag. You can play ranked matches or join player matches in online lobbies.
The launcher also offers:
- Ranked play: Win sets, gain rank, and climb the leaderboard.
- Match search: Find a foe and check the ping before you accept.
- Player lobbies: Join a room, invite a foe, and pick a stage.
- Match history: Check your past games and review your results.
- Player blocking: Block foes you do not want to face again.
- Match stats: View player ranks, ratings, and other game data.
The game also has options for input delay. This can help you tune online play for your own link. Recent updates have made quick button taps and stick moves more reliable, both online and in practice.
As with Tekken 7 and Tekken 8, this PC port supports gamepads, arcade sticks, and keyboards. The launcher lets you set your own keys and map buttons to suit your play style.
There is also a Practice mode that allows you to train on your own before you enter a match. You can pick your fighter, choose an opponent, and select a stage. You can also see frame data, such as move start-up and frame advantage on hit or block. This will help you learn which moves are safe and when you can attack. You can practice while you wait for an online match, too.
As with the latest Tekken games, you can pick costumes for each fighter, including extra costume slots for some characters. You can also set a custom look for your player profile.
And that’s not all. The launcher will also keep your match history and player stats. It also lets you view your rank, rating, and blocked players.
Furthermore, the launcher can update itself with just a few clicks. Many updates only need a quick relink, so you do not have to build the game from your disc again. However, some major updates may need a longer rebuild.
Recent updates have fixed bugs, cut stutter, improved sound, and made matches more stable. The team has stated that it will keep adding fixes and new features in future versions.
All in all, this is the definitive way to play Tekken 6 in 2026. Those interested can go ahead and download the PC port from here. As always, it does not contain any in-game assets. To play it, you’ll have to provide your own ISO.
