Ubisoft and IGN announced yesterday that Splinter Cell: Blacklist has gone gold. This means that the development on this title has finished, and that the game is headed to manufacturing for PC, X360, PS3 and Wii U. Now this is mind-blowing. Modder ‘Soolie’ has released a must-have mod for Skyrim that adds pseudo-volumetric clouds to it. According to its description, these clouds are real 3D objects which will react to the current weather. These clouds will change in coverage and altitude depending on the current weather. As well as normal clouds, there are also rain clouds which you can see raining in the distance (at close distances they will look like fog). Treyarch released a couple of days ago a video, hinted at the upcoming DLC of Black Ops 2. Back then, we thought that this DLC would be called Origins, however it appears that’s not the case. According to Black Ops 2’s Message of the Day, the next (and last) DLC will be called Apocalypse and will feature 4 new maps, as well as the Zombie ‘Origins’ chapter that was featured in that recently released trailer. Apocalypse is dated for August 27th on Xbox Live, and will appear a month later on both PS3 and PC. Square Enix today announced the final beta test and early access dates for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. According to the press release, new users will be able to participate in the final beta test on August 17th through the 19th, both for PC and PS3, giving players the opportunity to dive in to the massive-scale RPG’s final testing phase. In addition, fans that have pre-ordered the game will receive early access and be among the first to play the game beginning August 24th.
