Civilization Online Announced – First Screenshots & Debut Trailer

2K Games has unveiled an MMO version of Civilization. According to its description, Civilization Online promises to be a unique new MMO in which players work together to build a civilization from the stone age to the space age. Players will be able to create their custom avatar and then choose which role they will play in the expansion of their empire. John Carmack Has Joined The Oculus Rift Team As A CTO

The Oculus Rift Team announced today that John Carmack will be officially joining them as their new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Carmack co-founded id Software, served as lead programmer on Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, and the Quake series, and is one of the pioneers of 3D graphics. It has not been confirmed yet whether Carmack has left id Software or not (ninja edit: Carmack will not leave id Software, though his role remains unknown. According to the magazine, the PC version of Dragon Age: Inquisition will be optimized for it, and unlike DA2, it will cater to mouse and keyboard. Dishonored Gets Updated To Version 1.4

Bethesda and Arkane Studios have released a new update for Dishonored. This update is available for all versions (PC, X360 and PS3), and the PC version will be auto-updated next time you start the Steam client. According to its changelog, this update adds support for Dishonored’s upcoming add-on, The Brigmore Witches, and fixes a number of issues that were spotted. It seems that the PC petition of GTA V is going strong, as it has just managed to gather 300K supporters. GTA V’s PC petition currently has almost three times the number of Dark Souls PC supporters; a petition that made Namco Bandai bend to the will and demands of PC gamers.
