Now here is a really cool new mod for Red Dead Redemption 2. Created by alejahH, this mod adds a climbing system that is heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Going into more details, the mod adds a fully customizable climbing system to RDR2, so that the player will now be able to physically climb up every object. As such, you will be able to climb houses, trees, bushes, fences, electrical poles, rails, wagons, and mountains. According to the modder, there is no limit to what you can climb and where you can go. As long as the object is at shoulder height to the player, and they are standing in front of it, they will be able to grab onto it.
While you are climbing, you can freely move around in any direction, even wrapping around corners, and jump in any direction. You can grab onto an object when mid-air after a jump, which will allow you to catch yourself from falling, jumping from tree to tree, or even wall jumps. Once you reach the top, you will then be able to climb up or jump up onto the ledge.
Thanks to this mod, you will be able to explore the game’s environments like never before. If you are a big fan of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you will definitely want to try it out.
