According to its official FB page, all fans are invited to the awards Gala for the ‘Humanitarian of the year’ award. Warner Bros Teases A Batman Announcement For December 31st

It seems that Warner Bros has a special announcement for all Batman fans and you know what? My inner child wants to believe that this announcement is related to Rocksteady’s rumored Batman game. Now that would be an awesome gift, don’t you think? However, my other – more grounded – self believes that this will either be a new DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins or the announcement of a next-gen console version.

Warner Bros has released the Initiation Challenge Map Add-On for Batman: Arkham Origins on PSN, Xbox Live, Steam and Nintendo eShop for £5.49. The Initiation Add-On focuses on Bruce Wayne before he donned his cowl, and introduces a new challenge campaign with four unique challenge maps and two original skins – Initiation Bruce Wayne and Vigilante Bruce Wayne. Batman: Arkham Origins – First PC Update Releases, Console Update To Follow

Splash Damage and Warner Montreal have released the first update for the PC version of Batman: Arkham Origins. According to Splash Damage, this update addresses several issues, including leveling progression not being saved correctly in some cases and Arkham credits not being awarded correctly. As always, this update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client. Splash Damage also promised to release a new update for the console versions of the game at a later date, though there is no ETA. Enjoy! Batman: Arkham Origins – SweetFX vs Vanilla Comparison

As we said in our Performance Analysis, Batman: Arkham Origins looks great for a multi-platform title. However, the inclusion of TXAA brings an additional layer of blurriness that Nvidia users have to deal with. Well, not anymore. Thanks to SweetFX, PC gamers can enjoy crisp graphics, even by using this blurry AA technique (that does an amazing job at eliminating jaggies mind you, so there is still a reason to actually use it). In order to overhaul the game’s visuals, we added a bit sharpening, boosted the game’s shadows and retained its dark atmosphere, added more color to give it a more cinematic look, and enhanced the lighting system.
