Battlefield 4 – Alpha Test Starts Today, Won’t Support Windows 8 or 32bit OS Systems

E3 is over but Battlefield fans can look forward to even more news about DICE’s upcoming title. According to an email we got, the alpha testing phase of Battlefield 4 will start later today, and Electronic Arts has released the minimum specs for this alpha build. According to those specs, Battlefield 4’s alpha build won’t support Windows 8 or 32bit OS systems. We don’t know whether the final build will have these restrictions, but we do know that DICE wanted to release games that would be exclusive to 64-bit OS systems. Kalypso Media announced that the boxed version of the critically acclaimed space strategy title, Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, developed by Ironclad Games and Stardock Entertainment, is now available to purchase across Europe, Middle East and Africa for the PC. The retail version of this 4X strategy title also contains exclusive in box items including a fully illustrated manual, CD soundtrack, double sided poster and a hotkey card. Weekly Top 10 PC Charts; UK PC Retail and Steam Digital Charts [June 9th – 15th]

The latest Top 10 PC charts have been revealed and as we can see, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition and Football Manager 2013 are the best selling titles on Steam’s digital and UK’s retail PC charts. As we can see, Football Manager 2013 is – once again – the best selling title in UK, followed by the Legendary edition of Skyrim, The Sims 3 and Simcity. What really surprised us in this week’s charts is the fact that Far Cry 3 has managed to re-enter and is spotted in the last place. Bioshock: Infinity and Mists of Pandaria have also returned, and are in the eighth and ninth place, respectively. Mortal Kombat – First PC Screenshots Revealed

Kombatants, get ready for a treat. The first screenshots from the PC version of Mortal Kombat have been revealed and our reader ‘TensiKashi’ has just sent them to us. Mortal Kombat is currently planned for a July 3rd release and will feature dynamic gameplay including Tag Team, Challenge Tower and a full feature length story mode. Players choose from an extensive lineup of the game’s iconic warriors and challenge their friends in traditional 1 vs. 1 matches, or gamers can spectate battles and interact directly with Kombatants online during the King of the Hill mode. The game supports the Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition Fight Stick and delivers full controller capability. Players will also be able to access achievements and leaderboard stats. Enjoy! ConnectedDigitalWorld has posted two new gameplay videos for Volition’s upcoming open-world title, Saints Row IV. In Saints Row IV, the head honcho of the Saints has been elected to the Presidency of the United States. But the Saints are just getting started. Now the larger-than-life insanity of the Saints series gets a new twist with a catastrophic alien invasion, and the aliens have transported the Saints to a bizarro-Steelport simulation. Ubisoft asks PC gamers to show interest about The Division, petition almost hits its initial goal

It seems that Ubisoft wants to promote a possible PC version of The Division in a really clever way. During this year’s E3, the French company announced that this great looking game would be coming on XBOne and PS4. Even though it did not rule out other platforms for a future release, the company stated that it was currently focused on the console versions.
