Apogee Software and Interceptor Entertainment’s much anticipated re-make of Rise of the Triad will be available July 31st for $14.99. Beginning today, Rise of the Triad’s pre-orders come with a free version of the Apogee Throwback Pack that is available for immediate download. The Apogee Throwback Pack is a collection that includes the original classic Rise of the Triad: Dark War and Extreme Rise of the Triad expansion pack, as well as Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold and Blake Stone: Planet Strike.
Pre-orders are available on pretty much everywhere, including Apogee, Steam, GOG.com, and Green Man Gaming.
Rise of the Triad is the Unreal Engine 3-powered remake of Apogee’s classic over-the-top shooter. It retains all of the original’s crazy weapons, game modes and secrets, revamped with hot new visuals, improved gameplay, achievements, multiplayer leaderboards and so much more.
