This patch will update your game’s version to 1.5.1, and comes with Crossplay Multiplayer support between the game’s Steam and GOG versions. Rise Of The Triad Gets A Massive Update That Adds Mod Tools

Interceptor Entertainment has released a huge update for Rise of the Triad – that weights around 1GB – and adds quicksaves and the much anticipated Ludicrous Development Kit. In addition, this patch comes with lots of fixes for both the SP and the MP mode, adds support for community multiplayer and single player maps, and adds proper map rotation enabled to its MP Dedicated Server tool. This new patch will update your game’s version to 1.1 and comes with hundreds of fixes, tweaks, optimizations and features requested during the first month since release. In addition, the development team revealed that it has added five brand new maps and a map playlist tool in this patch for free. Rise Of The Triad’s Latest Update Is Packed With Optimizations, Brings Mouse Smoothing Launcher

Interceptor has released a new update for the remake of Rise of the Triad. According to the changelog, this patch comes with a mouse smoothing launcher, disables mouse smoothing and smooth framerate locks by default, and brings various optimizations in order to increase the game’s performance. The update will be auto-downloaded next time you start your Steam client, and you can find its complete changelog below. Back in October 2010, we found out about a small team of enthusiasts who were working on a freeware remake of Duke Nukem 3D that would be powered by Unreal Engine 3. That small team was no other than Interceptor, the company behind Rise of the Triad’s remake. As with Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded, Rise of the Triad’s remake is powered by Unreal Engine 3, therefore we expected a pretty solid PC game. GOG.com and Interceptor Entertainment have released a video Q&A, in which Frederik Schreiber answers GOG.com users’ questions about Rise of the Triad. Rise of the Triad promises to keep the map layout of the old-school shooters, and to be as fun as its original version. Interceptor wanted to pay tribute to the old-school 90s FPS titles, and Rise of the Triad promises to be gory, fast, and fun. The game is scheduled for a July 31st release, exclusively on the PC. With these assets. players will be able to create new maps (that look just like ROTT’s 1995 levels) and share them.
