Talented modder ‘JulioNIB’ has released the first WIP Early Access version of his God of War Mod for Grand Theft Auto 5. This Early Access version is currently available only to the modder’s Patreon members. However, we expect this mod to become available to everyone once it leaves its Early Access phase.
To create this mod, JulioNIB took inspiration from GoW 3. The modder has implemented custom moves that were heavily inspired by those that Kratos had in the original game. And, to be honest, he did an amazing job at recreating them.
This mod really highlights the awesome stuff the modding community can make. GTA 5 has gotten a lot cooler thanks to mods. But it’s kinda sad how Take-Two is treating PC gamers. They’re shutting down mods and not releasing GTA 6 on PC at the same time as consoles. It feels like they’re treating PC gamers like second-class citizens. And that kind of sucks.
JulioNIB has released lots of cool mods for GTA 5. For instance, there is a Grand Theft Auto 5 Marvel Thanos Endgame mod, as well as a PS4 Marvel Spider-Man mod. Furthermore, you can find a Predator Mod, an X-men Magneto Mod, a Hulk Mod, and a King Kong/Godzilla Mod. You can also find a Dragon Ball Mod, a Flash Mod, a Green Goblin Mod and a Ghostrider Mod.
Speaking of Grand Theft Auto 5, we also suggest taking a look at these free mods for it. For instance, we have this mod that overhauls over 70 side characters. Then there is this Real Life Beverly Hills Mod. NaturalVision Evolved Mod is a graphical overhaul mod that aims to improve the game’s lighting. QuantV is interesting another graphical mod for Rockstar’s open-world title. In November 2023, we also shared a mod that restored all the songs that were cut from the game. And finally, there is a DLSS 3 Frame Generation Mod for it.

Those people are hidding mods behind paywall, and then they cry and have the audacity to say how R*/T2 is terrible.
It’s actually smart of RS to not release a pc version side by side. Make and optimize to a fixed system first, no piracy either, get it going for a couple years then the pc version for a gazillion configs will be a lot more smooth release. THEN 2 years later they can count on HUGE influx of revenue and free hype. Just the online part is a huge task.
Make no mistake RS has a terrible history with PC releases, 4 was and is still a mess brute force and tricks make it fine today just finished a playthrough. I’m on 107 no dlc version and STILL had to lock it to 30fps to get past the helicopter bug but did it.
5, I can’t remember if it was a mess on PC at first or not, seems not. 5 is a pain to mod even if you don’t bother with the socialist club nonsense, I have v141 and just have some simple mods like races, menyoo, etc
RDR2 is still buggyAF on pc with the ffffffffffff error which for me is always tied to changing too many graphics settings at once, especially ones that need a restart which i dont do right away. Then I have to manually switch from vulkan to dx12 in the config file to get it going again. Switch back to vulkan. The last few months have been smooth no errors, done modding that too.
They then abandoned SP mode like 5, and now RDO is largely dead too.
The DE disrespect of their own classics was also a mess on PC at first, it still has some bugs especially SA but for me worked ok.
The decision to tie SP game to a MP game means those who don’t bother with GTO are forced to have 50gb+ of crap they can’t use normally, total bs there. Base GTA5 from 15 for pc was 60gb w all languages, 168 from dec 2023 is like 112gb all online stuff, ridiculous for SP play.
