MSI accused for selling their Ampere GeForce RTX 3080 cards at an inflated price on EBay

According to a recent Reddit thread MSI was earlier accused for scalping their branded RTX 3080 cards on Ebay via its US subsidiary ‘Starlit Partner’. Customers have been blaming MSI for selling their GPUs at a much higher price, but the company has issued an official statement on this issue. MSI announces its ‘MPG GF’ line of power supplies for Nvidia’s upcoming RTX 30 series Ampere cards

MSI has unveiled its MPG GF series of Power Supplies/PSUs in 850W, 750W & 650W variants, specially designed for Nvidia’s next-generation of Graphics Cards, including the upcoming Ampere GPU lineup. These power supplies seem to be compatible with Ampere GPUs. These are MSI’s first lineup of power supplies. The PSU’s OEM is not yet known, but my guess is that these units are made by MSI’s own in-house production line. Rocket Lake (RKL) is Intel’s new micro-architecture that will be a direct successor to the Comet Lake-S series of desktop CPUs and high-performance mobile devices. MSI has issued a press release about its presence at this year’s Computex, and revealed that Final Fantasy Type-0 will be coming to the PC (and will be showcased running on its new laptops). Look and behold; new versions of EVGA Precision and MSI Afterburner come with a Frame Limiter

Remember a while ago when we informed you about the frame limiter that was hidden in Nvidia’s ForceWare drivers? Well, good news for everyone as the latest versions of both EVGA Precision and MSI Afterburner come with a new, Frame Limiter option. What is really interesting here though, is that the algorithm for this limiter is entirely different from the one found on the latest Nvidia drivers. This basically means that the Frame Limiter works with more games, with any NVIDIA driver version and any hardware (both AMD and NVIDIA). Yeap, that’s right AMD fans, you can use the frame limiter.
