Assignments are being implemented and bellow you will find the full list and details in how you can unlock all ten Back to Karkand weapons. Now I have to say that I’m not a fan of this kind of unlocks and strongly believe that unlocks should stay the way they were. Still, DICE’s attempts to offer something new to the table are noted. What do you think of this new way of unlocking the game’s weapons? Continue reading Battlefield 3: Back To Karkand – Assignments Detailed & How You Can Unlock Them

The game will be developed by BioWare and in cased you didn’t catch it, it will be a PC exclusive title as the only available platform – for the time being – is the PC. Given that this is EA though, we might see it on consoles too. However, the game is PC exclusive for now. Interesting, no? Oh, and the game will not support DX9 as we can see from its minimum requirements. Does this mean that it’ll use the Frostbite 2.0 engine? Oh yes it does. BioWare and Frostbite 2.0 in a strategy game. Seriously now, what more could you ask for? The game is currently slated for a 2013 release and we have some screen-grabs from the official release, the first details, system requirements and its teaser trailer after the jump. Enjoy everyone! Return to Jurassic Park – New Mind-Blowing Screenshots From This Crysis Mod

Our dear friends at PCGames.de have posted some new screenshots from Return to Jurassic Park. Return to Jurassic Park is a Crysis mod for Jurassic Park with a fictional story setting on Isla Nublar 18 years after the first film. Well, at least that’s the plan of the mod team and although it’s clearly stated to be a Crysis mod, word has it that it will be moved to Crysis 2. What’s also really interesting is that one of the ‘compy’ images is actually a ingame shot. It’s hard to believe that a modding team has managed to produce such real-time graphics, so our guess is that it’s a PR trick and nothing more. Still, these renders look lovely. Enjoy! Crysis 2 is the Best German Game 2011; wins six German Developer Awards

In line with yesterday evening’s awards ceremony in Düsseldorf (Germany), Crytek won a total of six German Developer Awards. Long story short, Crysis 2 has managed to receive the awards for ‘Best German Game’, ‘Best Action Game’, ‘Best Graphics’, ‘Best Soundtrack’, ‘Best Technology’ and ‘Best Console Game’. While this is great for Crytek, we feel a bit weird as… well… you know… Best Console Game of 2011 and Best Graphics? We think not. Anyway, it’s nice to see Crytek getting recognition for their sequel to one of the best – and most beautiful – PC FPS games. Battlefield 3 – Surprise surprise; IRNV is still bugged after the latest patch

One of the most controversial changes in the latest patch of Battlefield 3 is definitely the rebalanced IRNV. Contrary to the PS3 changes though, the PC changes that were made to the IRNV are quite different. The PC version seems better overall, however you still can’t see – pretty much – anything. Not only that, but there is a crucial bug where the IRNV returns to the pre-patch state when your health drops under a certain point. Now that’s really awesome and we have a video of this bug in action. Enjoy everyone and yeah, DICE stay true to their roots and are introducing new bugs with each and every new patch. Hooray!
