Project Copernicus – Three New Fly-Through Videos Leaked

Youtube user “stduquette” has uploaded three video fly-throughs from Project Copernicus. The first video shows off an early, first look, at Jottunhessen, while the second one has an optimized version of that area. These two videos were from 2011. The third video, on the other hand, shows off Valiance and is dated May 2012. Project Copernicus looked ambitious, no doubt about that. However, 38 Studios closed and this game won’t ever see the light of day… or will it? Continue reading Project Copernicus – Three New Fly-Through Videos Leaked

Project Copernicus Trailer Leaked

Now this reminds me of what happened with Duke Nukem Forever. When 3D Realms shut down, some screenshots, artworks and a trailer got leaked online. Well, the same thing is now happening for Project Copernicus, 38 Studios’ MMO version of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. There aren’t currently any plans for any other studio opting it and finishing, but as they say – there is always hope. Question is whether we want another MMORPG or not. Enjoy! 38 Studios lay off all stuff, Kingdoms of Amalur failed commercially, Project Copernicus fate at stake

Earlier today, a dev from 38 Studios leaked three screenshots of Project Copernicus. Project Copernicus is the codename for an unparalleled MMOG entertainment experience set in a truly evolving fantasy world that is both warmly familiar and intriguingly unique. Think of it as an MMO version of Kingdoms of Amalur. That project sounded great and the following screenshots showcase a unique style. However, the fate of this project is currently at stake as 38 Studios laid off all of its stuff and Big Huge Games has been closed. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning looks awesome with this FXAA Injector – Vanilla vs Skyrim FXAA Injector

Let’s be honest here, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning doesn’t look as good as we’d hoped to. It has blurry textures and looks a bit flat in most occasions. And I’m amazed with the subtle – yet noticeable – improvements that Skyrim’s FXAA Injector brings to the table. The sharpening filter is ideal for all those blurry road textures and the ability to adjust the game’s saturation – and bring it to your own taste – is something that most games should feature as an in-game option. Make no mistake, this FXAA Injector tool is a must-have tool as the game looks so much more vivid with it. Download link and comparison video below.
