The Witcher 3 Remastered feature-3

The Witcher 3: Remastered Mod Adds New Procedurally Generated Contracts

The Witcher 3 fans, here is something cool for you today. Modder ‘blibby84’ released a new mod for The Witcher 3: Remastered that adds new procedurally generated contracts. So, if you’ve been playing the remaster, I highly recommend taking a look at it.

Going into more detail, this mod adds repeatable monster contracts to the notice boards in Velen, Novigrad, and Skellige. The contracts are random, so you can keep taking on new hunts. You can pick up a note, track down the monster, and collect your reward. As such, this will give you a steady way to make money after the main story jobs start to run out.

Every 72 in-game hours, there is a 33% chance that a new contract will appear on a notice board in your current region. You will then have to take the note titled “Foul Things Lie Near” from the board within these 72 in-game hours. If you do not take it in time, the note disappears.

Once you take the note, the game marks a search area within 700 meters of the notice board. The monster will be somewhere in the wild. It will not spawn in a town or in the water. You must find and kill it before the time runs out.

The monster carries your bounty along with its normal loot. Each monster is within five levels of Geralt. The base reward is 500 crowns. The bounty can range from 250 to 750 crowns based on the level difference.

The mod also uses the game’s normal contract reward system. This means economy mods that change contract rewards will also affect these bounties. And after each contract ends, the wait for the next one begins.

Those interested can download the mod from here.

A lot of modders are currently bringing their mods to the remastered version. However, if you are still playing the Next-Gen version, you can try some of the following mods.

For instance, there is a really cool first-person mod. The Characters Reworked Project is another interesting mod that improves the quality of over 100 characters. Let’s also not forget this mod that lets you kill most in-game NPCs. Then we have this mod that overhauls the game’s combat with better animations, better targeting, and new dodging mechanics.

In July 2024, we shared mods that restored the boat races and added 15 new quests. A modder has also restored the reputation system that CDPR cut from the game. Plus, there is a cool fan expansion, based on the original book “The Last Wish”. Then, in February 2026, a modder shared a DLC-sized expansion mod that added a new questline for Ciri and a new region to explore. Another DLC-sized fan expansion is Dawn Over Kovir. TW3 fans should also try the demo for The WAR Project. The WAR Project is a massive cut content recreation project aimed at realising the vision for a long-forgotten questline, commonly known as the Plague Questline.

In December 2023, we shared this mod that restores content that was cut from all previous The Witcher games. Then, in February 2024, we shared a mod that attempted to remove the fake “hero” light from the game’s cut-scenes. There is also this mod that allows you to explore a part of the world from the first The Witcher game in TW3. Oh, and don’t forget this mod that allows you to ride a Griffin. Or how about this Sekiro-inspired combat mod?

Another must-have mod is The Witcher 3 Online. With this mod, players can join servers and play together with friends. You can customize your character with Custom Player Characters and relax in taverns using the Chill Out feature. You can also chat with other players, use emotes, and roleplay with strangers. Best of all, you can experience the full story of Geralt and Ciri from beginning to end, all while exploring the world of The Witcher with other players.

Witcher 3 Quests Extended is another mod that may interest you. This mod adds 18 new playable quests to the game. Finally, we have this mod that fixes nearly 6,000 bugs. It includes more than 2,200 bug fixes and over 2,000 placement fixes. It also restores cut content, as well as around 120 NPCs and characters.

Have fun!
