In March 2024, we informed you about a God of War Mod for Grand Theft Auto 5. And today, we are happy to report that this mod is available to everyone. This is a really cool mod so make sure to download it.
To create this mod, JulioNIB took inspiration from GoW 3. The modder has implemented custom moves that were heavily inspired by those Kratos had in the original game.
In short, this mod will allow you to play and wreak havoc as Kratos. This mod is just for fun. It’s not meant to make GTA5 look like God of War. Regardless of that, what the modder has managed to achieve here is pretty incredible.
You can download the mod from this link. Do note, though, that the mod will not change the main character model. To get your character to look like Kratos, you’ll also have to download this mod. At the end of the article, you can also find a video that shows off some of Kratos’ attacks.

Regarding the Next-Gen Update of GTA5 for PC, there is still no news. Back in September 2024, it was hinted that we may soon get the Ray Tracing effects. However, R* hasn’t made any official announcement as of yet.

I never played any of the God of War games, but that does look like fun.
Fun for like 2 minutes or less that it takes to watch the video demonstration. Pointless.
Anyone ever played these out of place super hero mods for GTA games? I like some of the gore showed, but overall just watching a 2 minutes demonstration is enough for me.
I think its more a showcase of the modders skills. It's been a recent trend to find the most absurd mashup of video games and mod it all together, more different the genre the better

Impressive that the gameplay mechanics could be ported, but he's way too out of place. Kratos should be climbing on marble castles fighting his usual creatures.
