Weekly CryEngine 3 Gallery [November 11th – 17th]; new images from the Bioshock project of Crytek’s artist

Today we bring you new shots from the works of ReVan1199, matthewhxq, iSqueezee, axeldev, walid-payne, Tom Yum 72, hostilis, Synce, Wesley Mackinder and Scott Homer. The highlight of this week is the updated images of Scott Homer’s Bioshock project, as well as the Skyrim video of CrydaVinci. We’ve featured Scott Homer’s work and in the past, so it’s great to see that the Crytek artist is still working on it. Scott plans to release a video at a later date and we’ll be sure to keep you posted. It’s also great to see artists from other studios – like Wesley Mackinder who currently works at Rockstar North – experimenting with Crytek’s proprietary engine. Enjoy! Project CARS delayed to late 2013, new community screenshots unveiled

Okay racing fans, we got some good and some bad news for you today. Rise of the Triad Remake Looks Stunning – New Screenshots Released

Interceptor Entertainment has released a new set of screenshots for its upcoming remake to Apogee’s classic shooter, Rise of the Triad. As you can see, Interceptor has used a lot of high-resolution textures, and the overall IQ (that is image quality mind you) is remarkable. Rise of the Triad is powered by the Unreal Engine and is currently planned for release later this year, exclusively on the PC. Enjoy! The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragonborn DLC – First Screenshots Unleashed

Bethesda has released the first screenshots of Skyrim’s upcoming DLC, Dragonborn. As we can see, this new DLC features some ‘Morrowind’ elements, and we are pretty sure that all fans of it will appreciate them. The Dragonborn DLC will feature mountable dragons and will be released on December 4th on X360. PS3 and PC version will most probably come at a later date. First Screenshots Unveiled For “Mars: War Logs”

Focus Home Interactive has released the first screenshots for Spiders Studio’s upcoming game, Mars: War Logs. These six images are a testament of the progress made on the game, since its first appearance in the short video teaser unveiled a few months ago. They give a glimpse of some of the places, inhabitants and creatures of the Red Planet, which are brought to life by the Silk Engine, the graphics engine developed by Spiders Studio. Okay, this is not much but what the hell; it’s the first screenshot of Dragon Age 3 so let’s all celebrate it, even though we can’t see much as everything looks a bit blurry. Perhaps too blurry. Profenix has released a new set of screenshots from the latest version of its proprietary game engine, S2Engine HD, showcasing some of the new graphical effects that have been implemented to it. S2Engine HD is said to be a complete general-purpose software kit for developing and running videogames or other virtual-reality applications such as architectural walkthrough, physical simulations. Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two – New Screenshots Released

Disney has released a new set of screenshots for Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. As the press release reads, the “Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two” video game returns Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to Wasteland, an alternate world filled with more than 80 years of forgotten Disney characters and theme park attractions. The game is planned for release on PC and Mac, though Disney has not unveiled the exact release date yet for these two versions. Enjoy!
