Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Beta Has Leaked NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction

It appears that the Beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has leaked the unreleased NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction. As such, NVIDIA RTX owners can now download and try this leaked version.

Going into more details, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Beta has the DLSS 310.7.128 and Streamline v2.12.128-rc2 .dlls. These files let you gain access to the new DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction Preset F.

But how can you enable it? Well, first you’ll need the nvngx_dlssd.dll from the new 310.7.128 package. Then, you should open NVIDIA Profile Inspector, select the game profile, find the DLSS settings under “05 – Upscaling and Frame Generation,” and change DLSS-RR – Forced Preset Letter to Preset F before applying the profile. And that’s it.

You cannot enable DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction with the NVIDIA App. Right now, only the NVIDIA Profile Inspector can force Preset F. Also, not all games currently support DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction.

People were able to enable DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction Preset F in various games, including Alan Wake 2, Resident Evil Requiem, Cyberpunk 2077, Crimson Desert, and Hogwarts Legacy.

Here is a screenshot that one of our readers sent me from Resident Evil Requiem. With the old DLSS 4 Ray Reconstruction, this scene looked really blurry. But with DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, everything looks sharper.

So, to summarize. To get the files, you’ll have to download the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Beta. Then, you’ll have to follow the guide above to enable DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction.

NVIDIA has stated that it will officially release DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction in August. So, unless you want to experiment with it, I suggest waiting for its official release. After all, it’s only a matter of days.

Stay tuned for more!
