Interceptor Entertainment has released a new set of screenshots for its upcoming remake to Apogee’s classic shooter, Rise of the Triad. As you can see, Interceptor has used a lot of high-resolution textures, and the overall IQ (that is image quality mind you) is remarkable. Rise of the Triad is powered by the Unreal Engine and is currently planned for release later this year, exclusively on the PC. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved - and still does - the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
