First gameplay footage from Mojang’s ‘Scrolls’ title, game approaches closed beta phase

Mojang has unveiled some new information – as well as the first gameplay trailer – about their upcoming turn-based game, Scrolls. Scrolls aims to take the genre of Collectible Card Games to a whole new level and is packed with a streamlined gameplay that is aimed towards digital online gaming, auction houses, single-player campaigns and an array of multi-player gaming modes such as friendly matches, tournaments and ranked matches. Weekly Top 10 PC Charts; UK PC Retail and Steam Digital Charts [June 17th – 23rd]

The UK PC Retail and Steam Digital charts have been revealed and as we can see, Diablo III and Sid Meier’s Civilization V – Gods and Kings are at the first places. The UK PC Retail charts seem similar to last week’s, although we can notice two games entering the chart for the first time. LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes and Battlefield 3 Premium can be spotted at the ninth and tenth place, respectively. Mass Effect 3’s Extended Cut will most probably disappoint everyone

Now I’ll be honest here – this does not surprise me at all. In their latest interview with Community Manager Jessica Merizan, Mass Effect 3 Executive Producer Casey Hudson and Lead Writer Mac Walters revealed that the Extended Cut will focus on the Shepard’s companions and not on all those unanswered questions that arose during the last five minutes. Overgrowth Alpha 183 Changes

Wolfire Games has released a new video that showcases the changes that have been made to the latest alpha version of Overgrowth. This week, David Rosen added a ‘case error’ alert and a ‘process pool’ toggle to config. Most of you won’t even bother with these features but let us tell you that they are really importan for developers and modders. Overgrowth looks great but we feel that the game has hit a wall or something, as there hasn’t been any major updates lately. Wolfire Games seems to be polishing various features but what we want to see is something more than an environment with some bunnies fighting each other. Company of Heroes 2 – Two New Screenshots Unveiled

Relic and THQ have unveiled – via the game’s FB page – two new screenshots for Company of Heroes 2. Company of Heroes 2 utilizes Relic Entertainment’s state of the art proprietary Essence 3.0 Engine to bring new technological advancements to the strategy genre in the form of innovative Dynamic Battle Tactics, increased graphical fidelity and new environmental destruction, ultimately putting the player in control with new Commander Abilities. Now that was an incredible week for Crysis 2 modders. Most of them showcased their latest works, therefore today we bring you screenshots from modders Thomy, neo83_gr, ReVan1199, Synce, rGOt, MrEnergy, d1ea, darkchazz, chicken, JMLfin, wenda and AsianNoodles. CryEngine 3 has so much potential and we seriously hope to see someone taking advantage of it. New screenshots and videos from the Doom 3 ‘Prometheus’ map

Bladeghost, creator of the promising Prometheus mod/map for Doom 3, has released some new screenshots and videos from it. Keep in mind that this project is being made by a single map and it’s still in early stage. This map has potential, however it’s really obvious that it still needs a lot of work.
