BeamNG versus Next Car Game – Destruction Comparison

YouTube’s member ‘jaimswallace’ has posted an interested comparison between BeamNG’s tech demo and Next Car Game. As we can clearly see, BeamNG’s soft body physics are far better than Bugbear’s physics engine. This obviously does not mean that Next Car Game does not feature spectacularly amazing deformable cars. On the contrary. Still, it cannot come close to BeamNG’s engine. Do note that this is a comparison between the alpha versions of both games. Enjoy! Here Is What Flight Games Could Look Like With BeamNG’s Soft-Body Physics Engine

BeamNG Planet

Our reader ‘Jonathan Gustafsson’ shared with us a new video from BeamNG’s Drive tech demo, showcasing a mod by drowsysam that introduces an actual plane with realistic physics and realistic deformation. It’s pretty obvious that this mod still needs a little bit of polish, but this will give you a glimpse at what kind of physics will power next-gen flight titles. Enjoy! BeamNG Mods – NASA Space Rocket With Working Thrusters And Apollo Moon Base

CryEngine 3 physics

Man, modders keep impressing us. Our reader ‘Jonathan Gustafsson’ has informed us about two mods for BeamNG’s tech demo that bring a NASA Space Rocket with working thrusters and Apollo Moon Base, as well as a… potato car. Both of these mods were created by Drowsy Sam, so kudos to him (well, more modders contributed to these mods so you can find them in Joanathan’s links). Enjoy! Continue reading BeamNG Mods – NASA Space Rocket With Working Thrusters And Apollo Moon Base

Mods For The Win – Modders Bring Apollo Moon Base And NASA Moon Buggy To BeamNG’s Tech Demo

CryEngine 3 physics

Our reader ‘Jonathan Gustafsson’ has informed us about an amazing space mod for BeamNG’s recently released tech demo, BeamNG Drive. Both the map and the buggy are created by modder Drowsy Sam, while the whole idea for such a project was Jonathan’s. The moon map has its own gravity and there is no sound becase we are in space and in space noone can hear you. This mod looks phenomenal, so go ahead and take a look!
