Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Update 1.28 improves Guerrilla Mode, brings PC-specific improvements

Ubisoft has released a brand new update for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. According to the release notes, patch 1.28 brings numerous improvements and fixes to the Guerrilla Mode. Several issues that were contributing to the difficulty have been resolved, as well as errors with matchmaking and launching sessions without full squads. Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will be free to play this weekend. This free to play period will begin on September 20th and will last until September 23rd. Unfortunately, though, there won’t be any pre-load, meaning that you cannot start downloading the game from now so you can be ready when the free to play period begins. Ubisoft has announced its fiscal 2017-18 results. The company is reporting total annual sales of €1,731.9 million, up 18.6% year on year. Annual digital revenue is up 37.8% to €1,004.7 million (representing 58.0% of total sales versus 50.0% for the previous fiscal year). Ubisoft has released a special Splinter Cell mission for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands which has a really lovely easter egg for the Metal Gear Solid series.
