Crysis PhotorealIV EGM gives us a taste of how Crysis would look like if it was released today

If there is one mod that can make Crysis unique and refreshing, then that’s definitely CyberAlien’s Extreme Quality Mod. CyberAlien’s mod is a piece of art and modder ‘x0TuRn0x’ decided to go the extra mile and to fix some bugs of it, as well as to include it in a map. Thus, Crysis PhotorealIV EGM has come to life. This little mod/map comes with better motion blur and DoF, as well as some gameplay improvements. And damn, those sand textures look lovely! Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo coming also to the PC and PS3; exclusive Mass Effect 3 bonuses unveiled

It was revealed yesterday that a demo for 38 Studios’ upcoming action RPG, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, would hit Xbox Live next week. Naturally, PC gamers began wondering whether or not this demo would come to their beloved platform. Well, good news for everyone as Reckoning’s Community Manager has revealed that the demo will also come to both PC and PS3. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning – Official PC System Requirements

38 Studios revealed this weekend the official PC system requirements for their upcoming action RPG, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. According to the developers, PC gamers will need – at least – an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB or an ATI Radeon HD3650 512MB GPU. As you may have expected from a multi-platform title, it will only support DX9.0c and an internet connection will be required for the product activation/registration. DICE’s Daniel Matros reveals: a lot of cheaters have been dealt with; details for upcoming patch coming soon

It’s a known fact that cheaters have been abusing Battlefield 3, and let us tell you that they are a lot of them. It’s good if you haven’t encountered anyone, but from our experience, each and every server has one of them these last days. Thankfully, DICE is already punishing them and Daniel Matros, DICE’s Community Manager, revealed that DICE will eventually give out accurate numbers about this whole thing. Syndicate – Deep-Dive: Co-Op Trailer

Electronic Arts released today a brand new gameplay footage of Starbreeze’s upcoming FPS game that will be based on one of the most legendary PC series, Syndicate. This trailes shows off the game co-op mode, where an elite squad of 4 Agents can work cooperatively. Syndicate is currently slated for a 2012 release on the PC and current generation consoles. Enjoy! CryZone: Sector 23 Beta Is Out Now; Crysis Total Conversion, based on S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Team WoS Team, the team behind CryZone: Sector 23, a Crysis total conversion that is based on GSC’s STALKER, series has released its beta version which allows players to get acquainted with the post-apocalyptic world of «Cry» Zone. Players will find a few quests, and one, but huge in size, location, steeped with dense forest and wrapped innumerable villages, research facilities and military testing sites. As with STALKER, one of the key elements for this Mod is its A-life system (non-final version), which is basically scripts that will have an unpredictable and interesting impact in CryZone: Sector 23’s gameplay. Battlefield 3 – DICE is looking into enabling SMAA and FXAA support

SMAA and FXAA injectors are two tools that are pretty much essential to every PC gamer. SMAA injector comes with amazing AA results that do not blur the image, while the FXAA injector comes with options to tweak the HDR effects and saturation/contrast of your games.
