New Crysis 2 modded screenshots from MaLDo; time to stare at some lovely walls

MaLDo has been hard at work these past weeks with the latest version of his amazing Texture Pack for Crysis 2. The modder has released some new comparison shots between the latest version of MaLDoHD and the vanilla version of Crysis 2. This time around, MaLDo concentrated in fixing and improving the wall textures. The end result is astounding and we can’t wait to get our hands on this new Texture Pack. Notice also the shadows that are being casted from the leaves in the modded screenshots. As always, the vanilla shots are on the left and the modded shots are on the right. Crysis 3 – New Screenshots and Artworks Revealed

Crytek and Electronic Arts have revealed some new screenshots and artworks for Crysis 3. These new shots showcase the same level that was featured in the first pack of screenshots. What’s really striking here is that the lighting system seems way better than the one used in both Crysis 1 and 2. Crytek has nailed it and Crysis 3’s TOD looks phenomenal. The Secret World hits its ‘200K participants’ mark at The Secret War

Funcom announced that 200,000 participants are now engaged in battle through ‘The Secret War’, a unique browser-based social experience that draws upon the conflict between the three secret societies in Funcom’s upcoming massively multiplayer online game ‘The Secret World’. Launching on June 19th, 2012, ‘The Secret World’ MMO pitches players against each other as they fight for the power to control the world for their secret society, and through ‘The Secret War’ social experience, participants can get a taste of the epic conflict that hits on June 19th. Markus ‘Notch’ Persson attacks EA for their indie bundle; ‘EA is a bunch of cynical bastards’

Earlier today, EA released an indie bundle on Steam that features Deathspank, Gatling Gears, Warp, Shank 1 and Shank 2. It was a surprise seeing EA releasing an indie bundle what came afterwards caught us off guard. Markus ‘Notch’ Persson was really annoyed by EA’s actions and said some harsh words against them. Notch called EA ‘a bunch of cynical bastards‘ and said that they are ruining everything. Wow. Crysis 2 – MaLDo introduces new manhole, new puddle, parallax on distant buildings and FDR on walls

I tell you guys; Crytek should seriously hire MaLDo. After a long break, the modder is back and has introduced some truly amazing new features to the upcoming version of his MaLDoHD mod. The latest version of MaLDoHD will come with a new manhole, a new puddle, parallax on distant buildings and FDR on walls. To demonstrate those changes, the modder has released some shots that can be viewed below. MaLDo has outdone himself and Crysis 2 looks – almost – like a completely new game with his mod. Battlefield 3 – Real-Life Video makes fun of BF3’s ‘Need Ammo’ and ‘Flashlight’ Issues

You’ve definitely been in that awkward situation where you’ve been left without ammo in BF3. And, naturally, you’ve already encountered teamates that were unwilling to co-operate with you. Those newbies were not giving you any ammo and sometimes, they were even blinding you with their flashlights. Well, YouTube’s member ‘CooperationDeLee’ uploaded a real life video that makes fun of these issues. It looks good, albeit a little slow-paced. Today, we bring you new shots from modders the_grim, Vanity Assassian, rGOt, USSR_GRAND, ReVan1199, chicken and atsest. As you can see, CryEngine 3 can push some amazing visuals and we are delighted to see the modders using custom, high-resolution assets, especially for the grass and trees. Battlefield 3: Close Encounters Donya Fortress – New Screenshots & Trailer

Electronic Arts and DICE released today some new screenshots and a trailer for the Donya Fortress that will be featured in the Close Encounters DLC of Battlefield 3. This is the second gameplay trailer from the upcoming expansion pack Battlefield 3: Close Quarters and as we said, it showcases the map Donya Fortress in all its destructive glory. You can also see the new game mode Conquest Domination in action, being a mix of the tactical classic Conquest mode and the instant action gameplay featured on these tight maps. Crytek – Crysis 2 was made with casual gamers in mind, Crysis 3 may have limited graphics options

Ah, Crysis 2. There was so potential after Crysis 1 and Crytek did really f’ it up. PC gamers were expecting a similar experience to the first part of this franchise, but they were let down by their beloved studio.
