A few days ago, the team behind Dusklight, the unofficial PC port of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, released Update 2.0.2. So, let’s see what this update brings to the table.
Dusklight v2.0.2 adds a useful new feature to the Save Manager. You can now import saves between different regions. You can also move saves between GameCube and Wii versions. Speedrun Mode now shows which mods are active, making it easier to see your current setup.
The update also fixes several issues with controls, sound, graphics, and crashes. Mouse buttons now work with custom actions, such as First Person mode. The update fixes file selection on some iOS installs and a startup crash on Macs with AMD GPUs. It also fixes music stopping between scenes and a crash that could happen when calling Midna while opening the map or item wheel. Other fixes cover Mirror Mode fades, Magic Armor, Shad’s reward, controller button mappings, and mod WebSocket messages.
Dusklight v2.0.2 also updates its built-in Randomizer to version 1.0.5. This fixes crashes when switching game modes and stops users from deleting seeds that are still in use. It also fixes several randomizer issues with warps, boss rooms, dungeon entrances, and item rewards. More fixes improve logic in Faron, Eldin, and the Palace of Twilight. The update also fixes the Sacred Grove Portal in starting inventory and makes spoiler logs use valid YAML.
