More Crysis 3 Details; Destroyed New York, incoming trailer, official reveal in April 16th

Earlier today, we informed you about the Crysis 3 leak. And now, we bring you some more details about the latest part of the Crysis franchise, as well as an image from its upcoming trailer. What’s really interesting here is that EA has not denied anything. To the contrary, the confirmed that Crysis 3 is happening, that the boxart is real and that the official reveal of it will be made in April 16th. Upcoming new version for MaLDoHD Mod for Crysis 2; new comparison shots released

Crysis 2 modder ‘MaLDo’ has released some new comparison shots to showcase the work he’s done on his upcoming new version of MaLDo HD Mod. Among other things, MaLDo has created a new junk texture, 2 new decals for grass, old books, reduced some unnecessary polygons in various scenes, made a few new asphalt textures (screenshots of one), cash machine buttons and a lot of repositioning for environmental decals and objects. Tribes: Ascend Version 1.0.905.0 Is Out Now; comes with new gametype and a new CTF map

Hi-Rez Studios have released a new patch for their free-to-play Tribes game, Tribes: Ascend. With this patch, Tribes Ascend has dropped the “Open Beta” moniker. The game will continue to evolve and improve with regular updates after this patch, but Hi-Rez now have moved to Version 1.0. In addition, this update comes with a new CTF map and a new gametype. Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition – PC Trailer, game will use GFWL

Born as a forlon hope from fans, the request to ignite the First Flame on the brand new land of PC has grown stronger and stronger. Infused with the support from countless souls from around the world, the request has turn real. Dark Souls is coming to PC, and it is coming loaded with a lot of new content. Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will be available on the PC platform in Europe and Australasia on August 24th 2012. At an event in Las Vegas, Namco showcases the game’s PC packshot but there was something that might discourage some PC gamers. The game will use GFWL. We know, it sucks but at this point, we don’t think that Namco will change or abandon their plans. Naturally, there is a petition but, well… don’t count in that. Enjoy the trailer! Street Fighter X Tekken Episode 1 – Animated Short

Capcom has released the first episode of an animated short film for Street Fighter X Tekken. This first part shows some of the game’s characters and explains Shadoloo and Mishima Zaibatsu are fighting each other. It looks cool, but the animated short is only available in English. We strongly believe that there should be a Japanese version and hopefully Capcom will release one. In other news, Street Fighter x Tekken is slatted for a May 11th release. Enjoy! Release date announced for Fatshark’s top-down RPG, KRATER

Fatshark today announced a release date for their upcoming adventure roll-playing game KRATER. PC gamers can join the adventure on June 12, 2012 via Steam. Mac users should get ready for a treat as a Mac version is currently planned for release in July. KRATER is a lush post-apocalyptic top down RPG and the base pillars are crafting, exploration and consequence. Consequence brings not only the ability for the characters to level up and improve themselves, but also permanent injuries and death. Crysis 3 boxart leaked via Origin; game takes place in a city, players will use a bow

Yesterday, we informed you about an incoming announcement from Crytek about one of their future games. And it seems that this game is no other than Crysis 3. Origin got accidentally leaked the game’s boxart that can be viewed below. Naturally, the service has been updated and you won’t find it right now, unless you are lucky enough and the client hasn’t been updated in your region. So go ahead and search for ‘crysis 3 limited edition download origin’ and you might get lucky. Crysis 3 was also teased in the next issue of GameReactor, so there is no doubt that the game will be announced pretty soon. In a long interview with Develop-Online, Peter Molyneux explained the reasons he left Lionhead Studios and Microsoft. The main reason for Peter leaving MS was that he could not be as creative as he wanted to. At that time, Peter had this huge desire to make something truly special, but he was being suffocated creatively a little bit.
