We seriously don’t know whether we should be excited about the following news or not. You see, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier PC was advertised as a great PC port from Ubisoft and what we got was an un-optimized console port that had major CPU issues/limitations. Not only that, but the DX11 features that were added were not polished and it took Ubisoft a couple of months to fix a number of performance issues. Therefore, the fact that Assassin’s Creed 3 will support DX11 features and higher resolution textures is both a good and a bad sign. Microsoft has officially announced that Undead Labs’ zombie game, Class3, is to be renamed to State of Decay. In addition, the publisher has released the first set of screenshots, as well as the debut trailer for it. State of Decay is an open sandbox world that develops in real-time, dynamically generating content based on your actions, the choices you make, and the ever-increasing zombie threat. Blizzard has revealed the changelog for Diablo III’s latest update that will go live tomorrow. Naturally, players won’t be prompted to download patch 1.0.4 until the patch is live in their home region. If you are logging in from a European or Asian client, you will need to wait for this patch to release in that region before it can be installed. Additionally, if your home region is the Americas, you will be unable to log into Europe or Asia using Global Play after patch 1.0.4 is live until those regions have also patched. Gamebase announced today that Shanda Interactive, a leading Chinese game developer and publisher, is using the Gamebryo engine to develop World Zero, a unique, MMORPG that allows users to create, manage and share their 3D virtual worlds. Obviously Gamebase could not acquire a better game engine, as we feel that Crytek’s CryEngine would be ideal for this kind of game. SpikySnail Games, today announced that The Splatters is currently in development for PC and Mac, and will be available on Steam as soon as the game is ready for release. The Splatters debuted on Xbox Live Arcade earlier this year and received a number of editor’s choice awards.
