Overgrowth 155 Alpha Changes

Another week, another video about the changes that were made to Wolfire Games’ action-brawling adventure game, Overgrowth. This week, David Rosen added weight maps to control detail objects density, enabled object mirroring, changed how models are stored in memory for better stability. Overgrowth takes place in the savage world of Lugaru where rabbits, wolves and other animals are forced to use paws, claws and medieval weaponry to engage each other in battle. TERA – Halloween Trailer

It’s been a while since we saw TERA in action, right? Well MMORPG fans, here is a new trailer for it that is inspired by Halloween. In order to give a fairytale look and feel to it, Frogster added a clever cell-shaded effect that looks awesome – here is hoping that there will be such a filter in the final version of the game too. TERA is developed by Bluehole Studio and promises to combine the depth and flexibility of online PC games with the rich graphics, animation, and immediacy of console action games. The Darkness II – Artfully Executed Trailer

2K Games released a new trailer for their upcoming FPS game, The Darkness II. Weekly Top 10 PC Charts; UK PC Retail and Steam Digital Charts [October 23rd – 29th]; BF3 tops everything

Call us unimpressed with Battlefield 3’s success. Although its single player is a COD ‘clopycat’, its multiplayer is really addictive and that’s its biggest feature. Battles are intense and quite frankly, there is nothing out there that comes close to Battlefield 3 oh, and I suck as a pilot… jets are not for me after all. Regarding the retail sales, we can also see that Stronghold 3 has managed to gain a place, whereas iD Software’s RAGE has lost three places and can be spotted at the end of the chart.
