Blizzard has rolled out a hotfix for the Immortal Wizard Exploit that was unveiled yesterday. After all, it was to be expected that the company would act quickly on this matter. According to Blizzard’s Xodiah, the company will continue to carefully monitor this issue and welcome anyone with information about bugs or hacks to submit a detailed report to its Hacks Team. Half-Life 2 and Dishonored share someone in common

Ever wondered why Dishonored’s Dunwall looks so close to Half-Life 2’s City 17? Well, that is because these two games share a common art director, Viktor Antonov. Speaking with Eurogamer, Antonov revealed that he was the man responsible for Half-Life 2’s City 17, its suburbs and the alien Combine architecture and technology. Since Valve stopped producing games though, Antonov collaborated with Arkane to do Dishonored. And that’s precisely why Dunwall looks so close to City 17. Indie Action RPG Path of Exile Hosts Open Beta Weekend

Upcoming Indie Action RPG Path of Exile is opening its doors to everyone for two days with a public test this coming weekend. Currently in a Closed Beta, Path of Exile has its own dark and highly customizable take on the Action RPG genre. MDK 2 HD releases on Steam in July 30th

Back in October, Overhaul Games released the HD version of MDK 2 that featured 10 levels, 20 enemies, brand new HD graphics, enhanced audio and tweaked gameplay. The game was available exclusively via BeamDog’s website and as you’d expect, a lot of PC gamers cried out for a Steam release. Fast forward a couple of months and here we are today with some good news for all of you who wanted to buy this remake via Valve’s distribution service. Overgrowth Alpha 187 Changes

Wolfire Games has revealed the changes that have been made to its action adventure brawler’s latest alpha version. This week, David Rosen added support for multiple mission objectives, mission objectives for visiting hotspots, must-visit hotspot, victory hotspot and a scriptable UI system separate from level script. In addition, David improved the challenge level selector screen and fixed a problem with missing image files. Those interested can pre-order Overgrowth and gain access to its alpha versions. Bullet Run gets two new playthrough videos for maps ‘Oil Rig’ and ‘Shanty’

Sony Online Entertainment has released two new playthrough videos for some of Bullet Run’s maps. Bullet Run is a team-based multiplayer game that puts players in the ultimate reality TV game show, where contestants showcase their deadly talents in the name of fame. Developed by ACONY Games and available later this summer for the PC, Bullet Run promises to bring the best elements of the FPS genre together with unique levels of immersion and character progression, creating a fully-customizable, persistent gaming experience. MechWarrior Online: Caustic Valley Reveal Map Trailer

Piranha Games has released a new trailer for their upcoming free-to-play online FPS, MechWarrior Online, that showcases a new map called ‘Caustic Valley.’ Set in the year 3049 during the early stages of a massive interstellar war, MechWarrior Online puts you in command of the most powerful war machine to ever walk the field of battle. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Update 1.7 Detailed, Beta Available On Steam

Bethesda has revealed the changelog of Skyrim’s upcoming 1.7 update. This new patch comes with memory and stability optimizations, as well as fixes for a crash related to new water shaders and another rare crash related to dragon landings. Furthermore, the beta version of this update is now available on Steam and can be downloaded. Players will have to log into Steam, click on Steam in the upper menu, select Settings, go to the Beta Participation section (that is under the Account tab) and select Change, select Skyrim Beta from the drop down menu and select OK. Diablo III Exploit Found – Immortal Wizards Spotted

So you thought that Diablo III’s Inferno difficulty is hard? Well, time to show these demos who the boss really is. Diablo III players have discovered an exploit that makes the Wizard characters immortals. All players will have to do is Select Teleport – Fracture (rune), Select Archon – Arcane Destruction (rune), Hover their mouse over their character and Press Teleport and quickly after press Archon.
