Futuremark has announced that 3DMark now has a new DX12 benchmark tool, the Sampler Feedback feature test. As such, 3DMark now supports all of the four major DX12 Ultimate features. Futuremark releases new 3DMark Ray Tracing benchmark, supporting both AMD & NVIDIA GPUs

Futuremark has released a new ray tracing benchmark for 3DMark. According to the team, players can use the 3DMark DirectX Raytracing feature test to compare the performance of the dedicated ray-tracing hardware in the latest graphics cards from both AMD and NVIDIA. 3D Mark Port Royal Raytracing Benchmark Tool is now available for download

As promised, Futuremark has released its latest ray tracing benchmark tool for the PC, the 3D Mark Port Royal Raytracing Benchmark. Port Royal is currently available in 3DMark Advanced Edition and 3DMark Professional Edition, meaning that – contrary to the other benchmarks – this isn’t a free benchmark tool. Futuremark shows accurate reflections with DXR, first raytracing tech demo coming at the end of 2018

Futuremark has shared with us some GIFs, showing some of the visual improvements that are coming with real-time raytracing. According to the team, real-time raytracing can render accurate real-time reflections of dynamic objects, can produce reflections of objects that exist outside the main camera view, can produce accurate, perspective-correct reflections on all surfaces in real-time, and they can make other surfaces (than mirrors) look more realistic too. VRMark Cyan Room DirectX 12 benchmark releases on November 22nd

Futuremark has announced that its new DirectX 12 VR benchmark, VRMark Cyan Room, will release on November 22nd. As its title suggests, this is a benchmarking application for measuring VR performance. Each benchmark runs on a fixed path, which makes it easy to repeat the test on other systems to compare performance, and players can run it without owning any VR headset.
