Square Enix has released the Gamescom 2013 trailer of Thief, in which the japanese publisher revealed the game’s release date. This new Thief title, that is powered by Unreal Engine 3, is scheduled for a February 25th, 2014, release on PC, PS3, X360, Xbox One and PS4. Thief is being developed by EIDOS Montreal, the studio behind the critically acclaimed Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and promises to be as a good refreshed tile (to the game’s gameplay mechanics) as Human Revolution was. Warner Bros and IGN have released a 12 minutes gameplay trailer for Techland’s upcoming zombie-themed parkour FPS title, Dying Light. As you may have guessed, Dying Light is basically a Dead Island meets Mirror’s Edge mashup. Naturally, the game borrows some animations from Dead Island, so no; this is not a ‘true’ next-gen title. Electronic Arts and DICE have released some new videos of Battlefield 4. These videos are part of the ‘Only In BF4’ series in which players share their experiences after playing Battlefield 4. Battlefield 4 promises to be better than its predecessors and will be powered by Frostbite 3. The game is planned for an October 31st release on PC, X360 and PS3. In Grand Theft Auto Online, you’ll have the freedom to explore alone or with friends, work cooperatively to complete missions, band together to participate in activities and ambient events, or compete in traditional game modes with the entire community, all with the personality and refined mechanics of Grand Theft Auto V. As promised, Activision has released the reveal trailer for the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Ghosts. The company has also reminded us that those who decide to pre-order will receive the bonus dynamic multiplayer map: Freefall. And I have to question now myself: will this thing ever stop? Avalanche Studios has released two comic trailers for its upcoming Mad Max game. In the first trailer we get to meet Chumbucket, the dedicated, but peculiar, mechanic who is an integral character in the upcoming Mad Max game, while in the second we got to see some notorious post-apocalyptic bandits as they engage in brutal combat with Max. Mad Max will be an open world, third-person action game where players become Mad Max, a lone warrior in a savage post-apocalyptic world where cars are the key to survival.
