New screenshots from Crysis 2’s Quake map

Mapper ‘Cleric’ has released some new screenshots from his Quake map that is under development for Crysis 2. This is basically a re-imagining of Quake’s first level and uses some of the assets found in iD Software’s classic shooter, like the ammo crates and the button switches. Upcoming Nuclear Dawn patch will introduce a new map and a FOV slider

Interwave Studios has revealed the changelog of their upcoming patch for Nuclear Dawn. This new patch will, most probably, go live today and comes with a new map and a FOV slider. Naturally, the patch also features numerous fixes and Server changes, and will be auto-downloaded from Steam. Interwave has also revealed that after this patch, they have an upgrade planned for the balancer and some other fixes and changes here and there. Prototype 2 PC is delayed to July

Aaaaaaaand here we go again. Activision has released a new video that showcases the content of the RADNET Edition that will be available only to X360 and PS3, and to make things worse, the company has just announced – via the game’s official FB page – that the PC version will be delayed to July 24th. Oh yeah, another delay for another multi-platform title. According to the official announcement, the company will share more details with us soon but let’s be honest; you already know the reason that the PC version got delayed. Serious Sam 2 is now available on Steam

As we told you yesterday, Devolver was planning to release Serious Sam 2 in both Steam and GetGames this week and look and behold; the game is now available for $6.99 USD on Steam. As we said, Serious Sam 2 is a ‘love or hate’ game and although it lacks some features that Croteam wanted to add to it, it still is a fun game. This is a more colorful sequel to the classic Serious Sam: First and Second Encounters and you can view some footage from it –  from YouTube’s member TirexiHD – after the jump! Mass Effect 3 – Voice Cast Reveal + New Screenshots

BioWare has unveiled today the cast for 2012’s first blockbuster game, Mass Effect 3. The ensemble will see the return of fan favorites, including Martin Sheen as the Illusive Man, Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale as Male and Female Shepard and will introduce Freddie Prinze, Jr. as James Vega, a marine who will help Commander Shepard take Earth back. New Risen 2 Screenshots

Deep Silver has released some brand new screenshots for their upcoming RPG, Risen 2: Dark Waters. Risen 2 is being developed by Piranha Bytes and features new gameplay elements that add to the diversity of Risen 2; for example, players can also use firearms now. And, being pirates, adventurers can also employ special new skills called Dirty Tricks, allowing them to confuse or attack enemies in combat. The game is currently slated for a 2012 release. Enjoy! Thief Gold is now available on Good Old Games

Remember when we predicted that Thief would be coming on Good Old Games? And it’s true that we were kind of disappointed when we found out that the hidden hero that was hinted in GoG’s announcement was not Garrett, but we knew that he would find his way to CD Projekt’s distribution service. After all, this is a true masterpiece and deserves to be in every digital distribution service. And look and behold; Thief Gold is right now available on GoG. Hell yeah. Ed Boon comments on Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection PC

PC gamers have been waiting patiently for the PC version of Mortal Kombat: Arcade Kollection, though most of them have been disappointed by the fact that it’s delayed for almost half a year. A few months ago, we contacted Warner Bros, who told us that Mortal Kombat: Arcade Kollection is coming to the PC, although there wasn’t any estimated release date as of yet. Man vs Machine breaks world record with 1000 players fighting simultaneously on a single battlefield

This is amazing. You thought that PlanetSide’s ‘600 players’ fight was awesome? Wait till you see this new, 1K fight from Man vs Machine, a browser-based FPS that is created by the Swedish developer MuchDifferent. Contrary to other MMO’s, Man vs Machine has managed to support 1000 players in the same game session as they were giving their best in a single FPS battlefield. EverQuest Goes Free to Play This March
