TeaserPlay, best known for their fan remakes of GTA San Andreas and Vice City in Unreal Engine 5, have shared a brand new video. In this video, they showcase what a Silent Hill Remake could look like in Unreal Engine 5.
What’s really cool about this video is that it packs a few seconds of gameplay footage. In other words, this isn’t just a map/level remake. Furthermore, and in order to enhance its lighting, the artists used UE5’s Lumen.
As TeaserPlay claimed:
“We used Lumen for rendering this and placed the camera on a close third person and tried to bring the deep and horrific atmosphere of the original game into Unreal Engine. We also used an unusual editing to induce a classic nightmare feeling, we hope you enjoy the result.”
The end result is great, so be sure to watch the video.
According to reports/rumors, Konami is working on some Silent Hill projects. Apparently, Bloober Team will be working on a remake of Silent Hill 2. And, since Bloober has used Unreal Engine in its previous projects, we can assume that they’ll use UE4/5. Thus, it will be interesting to see whether the official remake will look as good as this fan video.
Speaking of Unreal Engine 5, we also suggest taking a look at the following videos. Right now, you can download a Superman Unreal Engine 5 Demo and a Spider-Man Unreal Engine 5 Tech Demo. Moreover, these videos show Star Wars KOTOR and Counter-Strike Global Offensive in UE5. Additionally, you can find a Portal Remake and an NFS3 Remake. And finally, here is a Half Life 2 Fan Remake, an Oblivion fan remake, a World of Warcraft remake, a Skyrim remake, and a Zelda Ocarina of Time UE5 Remake.
Enjoy!

I expect the last paragraph to be longer than these article.s
Whoa, an Belarus-issued number plate on a vehicle in the beginning of a video!
Are you Russian?
If so good on you buddy ?
Hope Putin destroys the n@zi swines in the corrupt Ukraine trash!
Ppl are totaly deceived from as Usual the lying fake media!
That Zelensky wh@re is just a marionette for US that the pedohile Biden rules. Him and the rest of the Elite – Gates – Faoici eyc are well into the Great Reset!
Hope these mass murderes will get it in the end. Im sure as Musk are on the way and many more. Time to wipe these scumbags from the earth, or we All will be slaves!
Denazification was just a clumsy attempt at propaganda by the Russians, but that’s a battle they could never win against the west who have a much larger grip on propaganda, and it’s not about quality of information (west is much worse), it’s about quantity and discipline, just like TV propaganda where the biggest spender get’s the better rewards regardless of product quality.
If Azov was really n@zis and not US State department goons, they would have taken Zelensky out of commission, they just hate russians more, so the media whitewashes their n@zi tatoos, which they would never do to a local n@zi.
I’m not Russian (and proud of it) and am beyond thrilled to watch the fall of a thousand-years’ Horde (Russian Federation/USSR/Russian Empire/whatchacallit) with my own eyes 🙂
Go cry with the rest of the N@zi Swines then. Your days are numbered!

By gameplay you mean a running animation? You are so easily impressed John… also, those enemies look ridiculous, totally out of place on SH series, not even the western made SH are this bad…
Silent Hill was a good game (at the time of release) but is it really that great to play over and over again ?(I don’t think so )
I would go to play/watch all endings of the first Silent Hill, so about 5 playthroughs, but that was an different time and particular life context that i would not replicate today.

What in the flying rat tail is going on with dudes fingers in this video? Look at them right in the beginning and throughout the video…seriously why are they all broken looking?
Also, all this footage is just different stuff from different people strung together. Not impressive in the slightest.
