Dragon Age Anime Movie – Coming on February 11th, New Trailer Released

Okay, I’m a little puzzled here. Although I love animes – still consider Death Note as one of the best animes ever – I’m not fascinated by the idea of an anime movie that is based on BioWare’s RPG, Dragon Age. This movie is produced in co-operation with director Sori, and according to EA, Japanese animes are really popular in North America and that’s precisely why the company decided to make one. Dragon Age: Blood Mage Crusade – as it will be called – is currently slated for a February 11th release and TOEntertainment released a new trailer for it that can be viewed bellow. Enjoy! Ah, the CryEngine 3. Such a remarkable game engine yet there isn’t anyone willing to take advantage of it. Well, at least not a triple-A gaming studio as modders and indie developers are already experimenting with it. In addition, a new game will be powered by Crytek’s engine and will be called Stone Rage. Stone Rage will be a 3rd person multiplayer game that was originally developed on the Unreal Engine. DICE and Electronic Arts have just officially announced that Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand, the first digital expansion pack for the critically acclaimed Battlefield 3, will be available on December 13th to the PC. Mass Effect 3 – New Video Shows Off New Combat Skills

BioWare released today a new episode of BioWare Pulse, in which the company shows off some combat improvements that will be featured in the third and final part of the Mass Effect series and as you may have guessed, new powers will be introduced to try and make each combat class feel powerful and unique. For example, the Vanguard class will have this time around an upgraded version of the charge move while the Engineer class will be able to deploy turrets and hack enemy turrets to turn them against their owners. The Mutant Factor – New Screenshots from this upcoming Crysis Mod

Modder mckool has just released some brand new screenshots for his Crysis Mod. The Mutant Factor is a new singleplayer campaign for Crysis and Crysis Wars that features a completely different story with a new set of characters, which is heavily influenced by the Half-Life, Crysis, and F.E.A.R series of games. Battlefield 3 – This is how the nerfed IRNV looks like in the latest version

We know that a lot of Battlefield 3 gamers wanted DICE to nerf the IRNV and the company promised to do so in its latest patch. Well, the PS3 update of the game went live on November 30th and look and behold how the nerfed IRNV looks like in the latest version. To be honest, DICE could simply remove it as right now it is really useless in the PS3 version – at least in the Metro map. Gotta love that fog that covers everything when you’re using it. Want better graphics in Battlefield 3? Try FXAA Injector and witness some of the best PC visuals ever

We’ve seen in the past FXAA Injector in action with Bethesda’s RPG but did you know that you can get it working in Battlefield 3? Not only that, but the end result can be pretty amazing. Contrary to the in-game FXAA method, this custom one includes a sharpening filter that helps with the overall image quality. Moreover, players can adjust the colors and make no mistake guys, saturation and contrast can make a big difference to the game’s visuals. Oh, and get this right; FXAA Injector doesn’t introduce any additional performance hit and removes that annoying HDR effect that most PC gamers were complaining about. Don’t believe us? Ah, the good old Ultima 7, one of those classics that were created by the legendary Richard Garriott is now available on Good Old Games and is priced at only 5.99 euros. In the seventh installment of the Ultima series you — the Avatar — must go back to Britannia and investigate a series of strange events. EA and DICE released a new trailer for their upcoming Battlefield 3 expansion pack, so get ready everyone as three popular combat vehicles from Battlefield 2 are coming back into the Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand expansion pack: The STOVL fighter jet, desert buggy, and one of the APC’s. In this gameplay trailer from the Gulf of Oman map, you can also get a first glimpse of a classified fourth vehicle bound to strike fear into the very hearts of the enemy. Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand is out December 2011 at no extra charge if you own a copy of the Battlefield 3: Limited Edition, or available the same date at $14.99/1200 Microsoft Points.
