Electronic Arts has announced that Star Wars: The Old Republic’s Update 1.7 is coming soon, and will give players brand new in-game content to experience including Relics of the Gree, a limited time live event occurring across the galaxy, and the Galactic Reputation system, an exciting new way for players progress their characters. Crytek has just released an update for the public, multiplayer beta phase of Crysis 3. This patch is currently available on PC and PS3, and will be coming shortly on X360. According to its changelog, this is a balance patch that tweaks and improves a variety of weapons. Crytek also plans on introducing additional changes to the Crysis 3 Multiplayer and is happy with its Anti-Cheat detection system, though they are still encouraging people to submit screenshots with cheaters on the MyCrysis forums. Electronic Arts has released a new set of screenshots from the Single Player campaign mode of Crysis 3. Needless to say that it looks brilliant, though we kind of wonder whether Crytek will address some of the game’s performance issues. We’ve seen various drops in both the MP mode and in Crytek’s itself SP trailer that was released a while back. Hopefully, AMD and Nvidia will be ready for this graphical juggernaut and Crytek will further optimize it for a wide range of graphics cards. Enjoy!
