In order to remind us that Dead Space 3 is coming in a couple of days, Electronic Arts has released a new story trailer for Visceral Games’ action horror title. As the title suggests, this trailer focuses on the story part of DS3. Dead Space 3 is planned for a February 8th release on PC, PS3 and X360. The PC version will be a straight port from the console versions, without further enhancements or DX11 features. Continue reading Dead Space 3 Gets A New Story Trailer→
You know what? It’s really ironic when you see an executive producer contradicting himself in a matter of days. Last week, we informed you about Dead Space 3 and that it would be a simple port. In order to – somehow – calm PC gamers down, the game’s executive producer, Steve Papoutsis, told Shacknews that Visceral Games wants to offer the same experience on all platforms, and that’s precisely why they did not overhaul the PC version. Now the reason we didn’t inform you about this was simple; it was just a bunch of lies, therefore we decided to wait for the right moment to strike. And that moment comes right a few days later (thanks to GameTrailers), when Visceral Games reveals that the X360 will support specific Kinect commands. Man, it’s hilarious what a simple post can get you into. Crytek’s ‘CalamariDinosaur’ has made a bad joke on the official MyCrysis forums that got a lot of PC gamers annoyed. Obviously, CalamariDinosaur was simply joking when he said to an SLI owner to buy a X360 as the PC version of Crysis 3’s beta did not run in SLI. However, that got quickly out of hand and PC gamers decided to give Crytek the middle finger for suggesting something like that. Okay Battlefield fans, this is for you. It appears that Air Superiority will return in the final DLC of Battlefield 3, as the official Battlelog page suggests that this upcoming DLC will feature both the classic Capture the Flag and the Air Superiority game modes. What’s also interesting is that various rumors suggested that Air Superiority would be coming back in Battlefield 4. With the End Game DLC supporting this mode, we can safely say that those rumors are true and BF4 will support this mode from the get-go. Great news for PC gamers as the Multiplayer Beta of Crysis 3 is now available. The bad news is that you’ll have to download the beta via Origin, and we do know that some of you hate EA’s service. Nevertheless, those interested will have to head over to the ‘Store’ and then to the ‘Demos’ section. Crysis 3 Beta should be the first downloadable demo, so click on it and download it. BioWare’s Producer on the Mass Effect franchise, Michael Gamble, and Executive Producer of the Mass Effect series, Casey Hudson, have tweeted some interesting screenshots today from a – possibly new – Mass Effect 3 DLC.
