Battlefield 4 – Legacy Operations Free DLC Announced
Electronic Arts and DICE announced a new free DLC for Battlefield 4, called Legacy Operations. This free DLC will include Dragon Valley 2015, reimagined visually and with additional new gameplay features. The classic map from Battlefield 2, opens up for vehicular mayhem on land, air, and sea, with a massive number of flags, and destructible and repairable bridges. To be honest, this is a really meh trailer as EA could have done some amazing things with Star Wars’ universe. Mass Effect: Andromeda Gets New Teaser Video
Electronic Arts and Bioware have released a new teaser video for Mass Effect: Andromeda that is voiced by Commander Shepard. Now while this is really cool, it made everyone wonder whether Shepard will appear on this new Mass Effect game. After all, Bioware claimed a while back that Shepard’s story has ended. PC Is Still A Very Important Platform For Electronic Arts, Almost As Profitable As Each Current-Gen Console
Electronic Arts has issued its Q1 and Q2 2016 financial stats and as we can see, PC remains a really profitable platform for the big publisher. According to EA’s stats, the PC GAAP net revenue was 23% in Q2 2016 and 21% in Q1 2016, whereas the current-gen (PS4 + Xbox One) GAAP net revenue was 41% in both Q1 and Q2 2016. If we assume that PS4 and Xbox One have the same sales, then PC is the leading platform for the company’s GAAP results. Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst’s producer Sara Jansson revealed today that the game has been delayed until May 24th. According to Sara, Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst promises to be the most immersive action-adventure game with fluid movement, and in order to achieve that DICE will need a few extra months.
