Square Enix has released the Gamescom 2013 trailer of Thief, in which the japanese publisher revealed the game’s release date. This new Thief title, that is powered by Unreal Engine 3, is scheduled for a February 25th, 2014, release on PC, PS3, X360, Xbox One and PS4. Thief is being developed by EIDOS Montreal, the studio behind the critically acclaimed Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and promises to be as a good refreshed tile (to the game’s gameplay mechanics) as Human Revolution was. Square Enix has confirmed that the Director’s Cut version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be going multi-platform, meaning that it will come to PC, X360 and PS3. Square Enix has released the E3 2013 trailer for the fourth part of the Thief series. Thief is being developed by the same team who was responsible for Deus Ex: Human Revolution and is planned for a 2014 release on PC, PS4 and XBOne. The game is powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 and the PC version will be handled by Nixxes. And as you’d expect, this E3 trailer does not reveal much about its gameplay mechanics. There is no denying that Deus Ex: Human Revolution was an amazing Deus Ex game. Yes, it was a little bit mainstreamed (compared to its first classic title) but it was not butchered like other remakes or games based on classic franchises.
