NVIDIA RTX 3080 showcased being faster by 55-70% than the RTX 2080Ti in Doom Eternal

NVIDIA has recently posted a new video highlighting the gaming performance difference between the Geforce RTX 3080 GPU and the RTX 2080 Ti at 4K resolution. They used DOOM ETERNAL which was running in Ultra Nightmare settings, and the RTX 3080 easily outperforms the RTX 2080 Ti by a fair margin. Doom Eternal DLC “The Ancient Gods” can be played without owning the base game

It appears that Bethesda is taking a novel approach to Doom Eternal’s upcoming expansion/DLC titled ‘The Ancient Gods’ part one. Doom Eternal can run at 1,000 fps on liquid nitrogen cooled PC, tested with Core i7 9700K & RTX 2080Ti

When DOOM Eternal was in development, Id software’s lead engine programmer said that id Tech 7 engine powering Doom Eternal could run at 1,000 fps, on a powerful enough PC. A team lead by Polish hardware retailer x-kom has now managed to play Doom Eternal at 1000 FPS as part of QuakeCon.
