According to numerous reports, PC gamers are crashing to desktop while trying running these two games. From the looks of it, this is mainly caused by the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Irdeto launches Denuvo Anti-Cheat solution in order to combat cheating in video games and esports

At GDC 2019, Irdeto announced the launch of its Anti-Cheat solution to protect against cheating in video games and esports, called Denuvo Anti-Cheat. According to the press release, Denuvo Anti-Cheat prevents cheaters from manipulating and extracting data or code to gain an advantage over other gamers. Devil May Cry 5 has been cracked on launch day, does not contain Denuvo at all

Now here is something really interesting. Devil May Cry 5 has just been released on the PC and the game has already been cracked. What’s really interesting here, however, is that the cracked version uses a Denuvo-free executable file, meaning that it does not contain the Denuvo anti-tamper tech at all.
