Spooky Squid Games released the debut trailer and details about their 2D fast paced platform game that looks quite similar to Super Meat Boy. They Bleed Pixels promises to feature a singular mix of intense platforming and fierce beat-em-up action and tells the story of a young girl haunted by a mysterious book and her violent Lovecraftian nightmares. NHL 12 – 18 New Screenshots

EA released today eighteen new screenshots for their hockey game, NHL 12. The game looks great and is scheduled for a September 9th release on consoles. NHL 12 will feature a Full Contact Physics Engine, a revamped Be a Pro mode, all-new goalie battles and – for the first time – dynamic goalies in the game. Enjoy the screenshots after the jump. Trinity 2 to be showcased at Gamescom 2011

NHN Corporation announced today that Trinity 2, a dynamic new side-scrolling action title for PC, will be part of the exciting lineup of games being shown by NHN at Gamescomin Cologne this year. Along with the AAA MMO ASTA (formerly known as Project E:st), whose European debut at the show was confirmed last week, Trinity 2 will be presented and playable in NHN’s media booth in Hall 4.1, Aisle D No , 014 from 17 – 19 August. Ragnarok Online Major Update Released

Gravity Interactive announced the release of a major update for Ragnarok Online: 13.3 El Dicastes on July 13.  The 13.3 update is available to all players as a free update to the game content. Critical Mass – PC Demo Released

Manic Game Studios has just released a PC demo for their action 3D puzzle game, Critical Mass. Critical Mass combines fast addictive gameplay with strategy to create a new and innovative play experience and features 3 levels of difficulty and 4 distinct game modes. X Rebirth to feature multicore engine and cockpit view

Egosoft confirmed a while ago that their engine that will power X Rebirth will take advantage of multicore CPUs. According to the company, this is a new engine from scratch and one of the design goals was to make use of multiple threads / cores.
