The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will use Steamworks

Bethesda has just confirmed via their Elder Scrolls Twitter account that the highly anticipated fifth part of their successful fantasy RPG series, The Elder Scrolls, will use Steamworks as its DRM. So good news to most people as the game won’t use at least Microsoft’s GFWL service as the game is released under the Games for Windows label. World Of Warplanes – Details + GamesCom Trailer

Wargaming.net released today the debut trailer for their new flight combat MMO World of Warplanes. In addition, the company revealed the first details on the aircraft powers that will be presented in the game. Upon its beta release, World of Warplanes will feature around 60 airplanes from Germany, USSR, and USA, with British and Japanese planes to be added with the further content updates. New branches and new planes will be added gradually over the process of development as it is done in World of Tanks, and the total number might reach several hundred aircraft. Aliens: Colonial Marines – Five New Screenshots

I admit it, I’m excited. To be honest, words cannot describe how excited I am about Gearbox’s upcoming aliens game. We’ve been waiting for this bad boy for a long time and although the game is currently playable at GamesCom, we have some new brand screenshots for you. Aliens: Colonial Marines looks sexy, although they seemed a bit photoshopped (notice the absence of aliasing). So, lets hope that the final game will actually look this good with SSAA enabled.
