New gaming benchmarks revealed for Intel’s Core i7 8700K & 8600K (six games tested)

Lab501 has broken the embargo and leaked some new gaming benchmarks for Intel’s upcoming CPUs, the Intel Core i7 8700K and the Intel Core i7 8600K. Lab501 has tested six games and according to their findings, there is not that big of a performance difference between the 7700K and the 8700K (despite the fact that the 8700K is slightly faster in most cases). Sleeping Dogs – Definitive Versus Standard Edition – Screenshots Comparison

NeoGAF’s member ‘Qassim‘ has made a comparison between the Definitive and the Standard editions of Sleeping Dogs. In case you’re wondering, the Definitive Edition is on the left whereas the Standard Edition is on the right (as always, make sure to open the images in new tabs). The Definitive Edition of Sleeping Dogs comes with a 20fps performance hit and according to Square Enix, it packs improved, higher resolution textures, improved lighting, and higher number of particle effects, higher detailed character models, volumetric fog (i.e. fog/smog/mist/steam is now present in the game world), increased pedestrians and traffic density, rebuilt sound engine to heighten realism and more destructible objects in hand-to-hand fighting sequences. Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition – New Screenshots Released + Launch Trailer

Square Enix and United Front Games today release a brand new set of images for Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition. Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition packs improved, higher resolution textures, improved lighting, and higher number of particle effects, higher detailed character models, volumetric fog (i.e. fog/smog/mist/steam is now present in the game world), increased pedestrians and traffic density, rebuilt sound engine to heighten realism, more destructible objects in hand-to-hand fighting sequences and all 24 DLC packs have been integrated into the main game. Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition Gets New Trailer

Square Enix has released a new trailer for the Definitive Edition of Sleeping Dogs, detailing the new graphical features added to it. In Sleeping Dogs, players infiltrate and take down the Hong Kong Triads as Wei Shen, an undercover cop. Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition will be available on October 10th in Europe and October 14th in North America on PC, Xbox One and PS4. Enjoy!
