Oil Rush gets a January 25th release date

UNIGINE Corp announced today that global war for oil in the flooded post-apocalyptic world of “Oil Rush” will start January 25, 2012 on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. ‘Oil Rush’ is an Indie real-time naval strategy game based on group control, that combines strategic challenge of classic RTS with sheer fun of Tower Defense, and features state-of-an-art visuals. Batman: Arkham City Is Out Now On Steam

Today is the day for all PC Batman fans out there, as Rocksteady’s action third person has finally been released on Steam – at least in North and South America. European fans will have to wait a little bit longer but that’s okay we guess as they have tons of games to play until then. Batman: Arkham City comes with some exclusive PC features, like hardware PhysX, DX11 and support for Nvidia’s 3D Vision, and is priced at 49.99 euros. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – New PC Patch Is Out Now; Not compatible with LAA

The long awaited patch for Skyrim was promised to be released on November 28th for the consoles but PC gamers are getting a new patch until then. Patch 1.2 is slated for release on Thanksgiving and promises to feature new and major features. This new PC patch basically updates the game’s executable file and we should warn everyone that Skyrim won’t be compatible with the LAA fix – a mod to use more than 2GB of RAM – after applying this patch. PC gamers, meet Cube World; an adventure RPG voxel game

PC gamers, meet Cube World. Cube World is a 3D action RPG that is currently in development for the PC. As its title suggest, it features a huge procedurally generated world made up of cubes that will definitely remind you Minecraft and Voxatron. Make no mistake though, this is not a Minecraft clone. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Enhanced Shaders Mod Released

Last week we informed you about both FXAA Injector and ENBSeries mods for Skyrim. However, FXAA Injector introduces a sharpening filter that might annoy some of you and although it is customisable, a lot of gamers won’t be bothered with its settings. On the other hand, ENBSeries needs tweaking in order to find the ‘sweet’ spot. So, what about those that can’t be bothered with tweaking the aforementioned mods? Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad – New Update Released

We were a bit worried for the fate of Red Orchestra 2 as Tripwire hasn’t updated it for quite some time. Fortunately though, the company is still supporting it and has just released a new patch for it. This update comes with some map balances, improved physics performance, as well as improved frame rate smoothing video setting to give more stable FPS. Hard Reset – New Update Released; Adds ATI Eyefinity Support

Great news for AMD/ATI users as Flying Wild Hog released a new patch for Hard Reset that adds ATI Eyefinity support. In addition, this new update offers better support for Nvidia’s 3D Vision, as well as some minor fixes when players have connected a gamepad to their machines. Modding Community Comes To The Rescue; Field of View fix for Saints Row: The Third

Battlefield Heroes – Capture The Flag Mode Added

Battlefield Heroes, the hit free-to-play shooter, today announced that the classic game mode ‘Capture the Flag’ is now available. To win, players will not only have to dodge bullets from the opposing team, but will have to look out for other players dressed as trigger-happy dinosaurs and mummies in kilts. Gamers will have to work togetherto steal the other faction’s flag and return it home safely. The first team to do so three times will be crowned victorious!
