Guns of Eschaton feature-1

Guns of Eschaton Is a Soulslike FPS Western With a World Designed by Half-Life 2’s Art Director

4Divinity and Eschatology Entertainment have announced their new game, Guns of Eschaton. Guns of Eschaton is a Soulslike FPS Western with a world designed by Viktor Antonov, the art director of Half-Life 2 and Dishonored.

Set in nineteenth-century America, Guns of Eschaton takes inspiration from famous figures and classic legends of the Old West. It places them in a dark, fantasy world on the edge of the apocalypse, where every fight can be your last.

The game takes players on a journey from the American West to the East Coast through a nation in decline. Along the way, every battle tests your preparation, resource management, and survival skills.

Players must use special ammunition, well-timed parries, and precise dashes to stay alive. They can also use the Codex, which reveals enemy weaknesses through its Sequence Points system. Together, these mechanics create a combat system that rewards careful planning and smart decisions.

Although there is no ETA for when the game will come out, Eschatology Entertainment has already shared the game’s PC requirements. So, let’s take a look at them.

To run it, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-8600K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56. The game will also require 45GB of free disk space.

The devs recommend using an Intel Core i7-9700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.
