Ridge Racer: Unbounded – New DLC Released

Namco Bandai has released a new DLC for the PC version of Ridge Racer: Unbounded. This new DLC is called ‘Ridge Racer Type 4 Machine and El Mariachi’ Pack and as the title suggests, it adds two new vehicles to Bugbear’s arcade racing game. Ridge Racer: Unbounded PC Demo Is Out Now

Namco Bandai and Bugbear Entertainment have released a PC demo for their arcade racer, Ridge Racer: Unbounded. Unfortunately, Bugbear has not provided us with any additional details so we don’t know what is being featured in this demo. Ridge Racer: Unbounded PC – New Updates Released; micro-stuttering fixed, friends support added

Great news for arcade racers as Bugbear Entertainment have released two new updates for the PC version of Ridge Racer: Unbounded. These updates fix the micro-stuttering problem that was present with some graphics cards, add support for friends, fix the highlighting bug in lobby and improve the multiplayer stability with high latency or high packet loss. These updated will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client and you can view the complete changelog (for both of them) below. Enjoy! Ridge Racer: Unbounded – PC Update Released; improvements & fixes to startup CTDs, bloom, invites

Bugbear and Namco have released a new PC update for their arcade racing game, Ridge Racer: Unbounded. This new update fixes the MP invitations that were reported a few days ago and improve the bloom effects in some stages. Unfortunately, there were not made major fixes or improvements to the controllers as – according to Bugbear’s Fred – most of the company’s developers are taking a few days off. Ridge Racer: Unbounded PC Performance Analysis

We always liked Bugbear’s games. FlatOut was a great arcade racing series and run flawlessly in a lot of PC system configurations. Naturally, we thought that Ridge Racer: Unbounded would live up to the standards that were set by the Finish studio. Sadly though, what we have in our hands is a shoddy console port of a really promising game. Not only, that, but Ridge Racer: Unbounded suffers from all the flaws and issues that plagued the entire FlatOut series. Yes, there is rubber band and yes the controls are a mess, especially if you try to play the game with the keyboard, something that was no issue with the FlatOut games. Ridge Racer: Unbounded – PC patch to fix the ‘MP invitation’ issues coming next week

Man, Ridge Racer: Unbounded PC was certainly broken at its time of release. Alongside the Level Editor bug, the game suffered from a Multiplayer issue. Long story short, PC gamers cannot invite their friends in a game. This is a major issue and Bugbear has revealed that they are working on a new update that might hit Steam next week. Ridge Racer: Unbounded – PC Editor is bugged, incoming patch, demo coming soon

Ridge Racer: Unbounded has been released on the PC and unfortunately, it comes with a bugged Level Editor. Although the game is perfectly fine and playable – we do mind though that there aren’t any PC options but that’s another story, when you try to run its Level Editor you’ll get a fatal error message. According to the developers, this might be due to a PC patch issue preventing the City Creator from launching. Namco has released a new trailer for their upcoming Ridge Racer game, Ridge Racer: Unbounded. Developed by Bugbear Entertainment, Ridger Racer: Unbounded looks like a mix between Split Second and FlatOut. Fans of this legendary series might find this new iteration a bit awkward, but there is no doubt that this new Ridge Racer game looks fun and interesting. Ridge Racer Unbounded – Launch Trailer

Namco Bandai has released the launch trailer of Bugbear’s upcoming Ridge Racer game. Ridge Racer Unbounded seems like a mix between FlatOut and Split Second, so it will be really interesting to see how the die-hard fans of this franchise will react to it.
